Beauties, my signature deck will the first stretch goal deck in my next Kickstarter campaign. I thought about a separate campaign for this, or if I should print it without Kickstarter but I think it's the perfect stretch goal. Depending on how much we can fund there probably will be a third deck again. I have some ideas, but I will decide that spontaneously.
This deck is special to me because it was the very first back design I've put together in 2014 before I even designed the Black Ro...

I wanna give you one more glimpse into all the little changes I made on the face cards. After I changed Madison's QD for the next Remedies deck I also wanted to make the other Queens look more standard. So I changed the hair of the QC as well. The updated version will appear for the first time in my new Black Roses deck. I'm so used to the old card that it wasn't easy for me to change it. But I know since it looks more like a standard court card now I'm also happy with the result.
If yo...

Beauties, hit the "Notify me on launch" button so that you don't miss anything.
I'm still working on the last few details. But I want that this project gets as much attention as possible before it even starts.

I've decided to go with the standard court card colors for the Blue Magic Edition of the Black Roses Playing Cards. No other colors fit better to the blue back design.
Different colors on courts can look cool but there a plenty of examples where it doesn't look good at all. This happens when people think they need to change something because they have the opportunity.
If I wouldn't have my custom court cards I would also think standard colors aren't really satisfying. There...

At the beginning of 2019 I designed the court cards for the Madison Advocates.
In the design process of the Remedies we decided to split the face cards. 50% of the courts I want to see in this deck and 50% that D wants to see.
D told me to take a few courts from the Advocates but for the King of Spades I saw an opportunity that I would never get again that fast.
So I asked D if it's possible to add David Blai...

Exclusive discount for patrons - use discount code "mxs20" to get 20€ off.
Stanley Yashayev is an absolutely expert in his field. Madison and I are huge fans of his work. We both own one of his impossible bottles and we can say they are incredibly well made. We didn't want to miss the opportunity that you also get your hands on this little piece of miracle with our Private Reserve Remedies.
This is an eye catching object for your desk or shelf where ...

Beauties,
to be honest, when I started this Patreon page I didn't really expect a lot. I was just hoping that more than 2-3 people are interested. And today the 40th (!) patron decided to join our journey.
I've promised every VIP patron a hoodie after 3 months. At the moment where I made this promise I had no idea how the hoodie should look like. After that I ordered 2 different hoodies for myself to check the quality. One with a printed logo and the other one with embroidery. I ...

I love to find new ways to mark playing cards. But I don't like those systems where you need to study 5 years before you can read it.
Because of the simplistic back design of the Remedies there are just a few options to mark the cards. I came pretty fast to the conclusion that I just want to create a marking for the suits since everything else would be too complicated.
If you take a look at the bottom line in the feather you see the top end moving clockwise.
You see that ...

On the left you see the Rounders QD. For the Remedies in the middle I changed the viewing direction since no standard court is looking straight to you. I changed the hair, added an extra circle around the pupils and I changed the lips to match the standard court card design.
I've changed these details on the orginial file that I've received from Madison. On the last version that I've created today I've obvisouly changed the hair and I used my own redrawn court card file of the Queen of ...

Here is a little snapshot of what I'm doing right now.
Most of you already know but if you don't, the Queen of Diamonds is Daniel Madison's wife. If you compare the Queen of Diamonds in the Remedies with the Queen of Diamonds in the Rounders you'll already notice a few differences. I added a few subtle details with which we came closer to the standard court card details. Daniel's wife also wanted that her hair look less messy.
I like how Jeff Lianza (I'm pretty sure it was him) ...

As a Patron I would be so incredibly happy to see this... :D
Here are some concepts or earlier designs before we got to the final deck design of the Madison x Schneider Remedies.

Feathers and roses, spread all over the back - that was one of the first main ideas for our deck. Luckily we quickly came to the conclusion that a...

First of all thank you so much for your support! I didn't expect so many patrons in the first 24 hours. Of course you chose a tier so you don't go empty-handed but it's different for example compared to a Kickstarter campaign where backers are mostly just interested to get the product. I don't need to lie, it feels great that you are interested in what I'm doing.
If you own the Black Roses Altrosa...
