General Update - November 2022
Since it's almost December, I am going to post a general update for both the long-time patrons as well as the newcomers before the month rolls over.
I made the decision a few months back that after the Skyrim video released, I would be taking a break if not in general, at the very least from making giant projects. I have not really held to the first point, as I immediately started working on another video as soon as I put the finishing touch on the Skyrim project.

Skyrim Update #8 - Final Cut
I am writing this having just finished the final cut of the bulk of work in the Skyrim video. The video is not done and I'll be detailing what is left here.
-pickup lines: the final cut process found the majority of errors in the initial recording. There will be a single session to fix all of these mistakes.

Skyrim Update #7
We are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the Oblivion video. That video only had 9 months of work, compared to the full year that Skyrim is receiving. I haven't written an update since June because, to be honest, there isn't much to report. I've kept my head down and stayed busy, so I am still on track.
My rudimentary progress tracker reports that I am 60% of the way through the editing process. That is not 60% of the overall project. ...

Greetings. Work on the Skyrim project is continuing well. We are currently at 116k words, or 235 pages. For reference, the Oblivion video clocked in at 135k words or 313 pages. I have just concluded the rough draft for the Main Quest section, leaving just the Side Quests, Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Conclusion left to finish.

I apologize for not writing sooner as I generally intend these updates to be bi-monthly. The first big update is that I have translated my physical composition notebook into both Premiere and the script. This is in the format of timestamps directly into the footage, which is useful for keeping track of exactly what happened, and will also be a boon when it comes to editing.

I was a third of the way through editing the No Man's Sky video when I came down with COVID. Unfortunately I haven't accomplished anything in the last week as a result, but it is lifting now. I don't think the NMS video will be out for January, but I will try to write up a report on how the Skyrim Script is going by the end of the month.

I recorded most of this footage back in June, and in October during my break I finished up the script and actually recorded this voice over right after my Red Dead Redemption 2 session. Then I sat on the audio for two months until one night I decided to finish the project up for Christmas. Surprise video!
