As hinted in previous posts, I am going to take up a week of holiday, beginning tomorrow (Monday 19-Monday 26 for the exact dates).

There won't be a chapter posted during these dates. I need some time away from my computer...and traveling is always a good way to get more inspiration. I may update a few photos once I will be back, to see how fast some readers can figure out where I went.

This is the chapter 33 of An Impractical Guide to Godhood (betaed) which will be updated soon on every website.

I have taken the liberty of placing the Dramatis Personae at the end of the Second Great Quest on the same word document.

When it comes to alternate history, it will be separated from the same chapter; for ff.net and archive of our own, it will be on the same chapter. For format reasons, I don't want to add a chapter...

Announcement 09/04/2025

Just a short announcement to all readers that beginning on today, after a laborious process that I intended to begin in...November 2024 (yes, it was that long and impractical) I have finally been able to process the step to change the currency I use for this website from dollars to euros.

As for the reason why I changed it in the first place...let's say it was both personal and economic (grumbles at a stupid plot of Star Wars which should have never become part of this reality).

Writing Schedule - starting 27/03/2025

As I'm sure plenty of readers were going to post soon queries about which stories are or are not next now that the latest update of TWO is here, I felt it was better to post this.

Today, the writing of the chapter of The odds were never in my favour (that's the chapter 127, for the record) has begun. The goal is evidently to finish it before the month is over.

After that, the next story to be updated will be The Dance is not Over (since in my ways I had to divide in two last chapt...

I promised one more surprise for this week, and this is it.

I've not fully assimilated all the corrections brought by every beta, but I'm close.

Tomorrow (or in two days, time flows strangely in the Warp) there should be the full release of TWO 14-1.

Then I will be free to really begin the writing of the next chapter of The odds were never in my favour (which is going to be late, for what I think is evident reasons).

Heroic Foundation (An Impractical Guide to Godhood ch33 unbetaed)

All right!

As promised a few days ago, I have finished the writing of the current chapter of An Impractical Guide to Godhood, which is the 33rd of the Great Madness (aka the adventures of one Perseus 'the Tyrant' Jackson).

I'm glad to say that my estimates were (for once) rather good, with 'only' 81 pages and 31,000+ words in Word format.

Gloating me? No, I am far above that (satisfied grin).

The Return of the King - betaed - Ch32 Impractical

As the writing of ch33 is surely but slowly approaching its end, I took a few hours this morning to complete the final corrections of The Return of the King, Chapter 32 of An Impractical Guide to Godhood.

It is officially too the last chapter of Arc 2, Perseus Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.

As per the rules, it will be updated on all other websites before Sunday. By then, I should have been able to finish the chapter 33 and to post it here.

Writing is progressing rather nicely on the chapter, since I reached 28K words today.

The Dance is not Over 59 - War Tide

Okay, far later than I wanted, but here is the chapter 59 of The Dance is not Over.

To be honest, I faced two major problems last week. The first, related to RL, was...well, it's personal, so I didn't have much inspiration to write as I do usually.

The second, which is totally related to the story, is that the chapter I planned for was really too 'unwieldy' to my taste the more I wrote it, and I had to make several choices. Still, I'm rather satisfied how it turned out in the end...
