Photogrammetry pt. 1
Hey guys!
Here's the first part of my photogrammetry series. In this video I'm walking you through the evolution and process of how I do my scans, but mind you the process will change a bit in the coming videos.
I'm trying explain every important bit but in the same time keep it short and cut the bullshit.
I also realized that I actually forgot to explain the cross polarization film. Basically it's just a "linear polarisation sheet" I bought in a standard A4 format. I did...

Up until January this year I had never programmed anything really, in fact all my experience of programming up to that point was very very basic maxscript. I had never worked with motors, or building electrical things with wires nor designing any kind of circuit diagrams. I didn't know the difference between watts, volts and amperes, and to make anything work with a touch screen seemed to be an impossible task. Additionally, I didn't know shit about CAD or industrial design.

Yeah you nailed that circuit diagram pretty quickly, to no surprise.
Indeed it's an automated photogrammetry scanner. It's an arduino controlled scanner using TFT touch screen for menus and input. This video shows a very early version of the software I've been programming for it, however it's a lot more sophisticated now but I'll wait with showing that until it's done. I just have some more parts to print and some wiring and it is done, so should be able to finish it during the weeken...

Let's make a little roadmap. Since I should start taking Patreon a lot more seriously going forward, some kind of schedule to stick to is helpful. From now on my intent is to release at least one video a week.

Because Patreon at some point since I started this page has updated how the tier system works, a lot of post access settings has been completely screwed up now that I added new tiers. Some posts were assinged to tiers that no longer exist and when update the posts, that access is removed and I can't do shit about it.
I'm doing some housekeeping, and while I'm at it I'm removing old posts to models, scenes etc and will re-upload all of it properly this coming week.
