Thank you all for the feedback regarding my new tiers. It is important to hear your thoughts and it helps me realize things I might have not otherwise thought of.
The time limit idea was an idea I got from another Patreon Creator and I thought it could be an alternative since I didn't want to increase prices. However since your feedback made it clear that a time limit was a stupid idea, there are no other options and I've now updated the tiers.

So I was just informed by a very dear Patron of mine that someone is uploading my Patreon content on CGpeers under the name VipUzer.
At least the guy was kind enough to link my Patreon page in the description, but do I really have to say that I DO NOT appreciate that my Patreon exclusive content is being uploaded there, or anywhere else for that matter.
It's disrespectul not mostly to me, but to all my Patrons who are here for a reason. Knowing th...

Because of a request from a dear Patron of mine, I'm sharing this scene. Included are textures and scene file (Max 2015 + 2017 + FBX). Scene rendered with FStorm.
NOTE 1: Some textures are removed because of copyrights. The package includes a TXT file with links to obtain them, should you wish to use the same ones.
NOTE 2: Play fair and read the EULA:

Thought it'd be easier to record an audio file than writing a whole novel about it.
Thanks for listening in, thanks for being Patrons, and above all: Thanks for sharing your honest opinions. I value it a lot. <3

Hey guys. As said, here's a timelapse of the beige traditional scene. I know many of you wanted it to be real time but I had to cut away a lot of sensitive things like folder names etc, so if I were to upload it in real time I'd have to watch and edit 5 hours of video.
HOWEVER, if there are anything you wonder how it was made or if you want me to do additional videos that in real time explaines certain processes of this project, I'm more than happy to do so!

So I'm getting a lot of questions about photogrammetry, it seems this is of deep interest to a lot of you which I'm very happy about.
The recurring question is: Will you share your workflow on Patreon?
The anwer is.....

Hey guys.
You might have seen that I’ve been posting this project on social media last couple of days. Getting some great reactions on it. The great news for you Patrons is that I recorded almost all of it. Not with any narrative, so I’m just putting together a sped up video to share with you.
I didn’t record all of it since it wasn’t all made in a go, but setting up the scene, materials projections and lighting is recorded. The only thing missing is...

Is being completely mobile as a 3D artist in need of a lot of computing power really possible?
I really didn't think so. Now I know better, and transitioning from a clunky workstation to a laptop might be one of my best career-decisions ever.
With this setup I can work anywhere in the world and the best part of it all, I don't even notice a difference compared to my big desktop workstation. Of course I notice a difference in local rendering speeds, but when it comes to develop sc...

Hey Guys!
Super happy to see you here in 2020 as well.
I've been sketching on some updates to my on my Patreon page. More tiers, better caretaking and most importantly; more frequent content. From time to time I feel bad that my Patreon page is so quiet for long periods of time. Even though I always try to find time to upload something worth 8 bucks every months, it's constantly a struggle to find the peaceful time to record undisturbed with family including an 7 ye...

Here are the HDRI and backplates for the previous automotive video. The HDRI itself comes with a downsized 5k version that I recommend you use, but I did include the 25k original version as well, though it weighs in on a whopping 974MB.

Finally some time to record new videos. Starting off with some automotive rendering for now, and the next video, hopefully comping up tomorrow will cover the concrete scene I've been asked to break down properly.
Edit : Updated with files attached.

I little nightly update. I got my gear yesterday, and here's my very first result with photogrammetry. I'll have some few things to figure out, then you can be sure there will be both videos and continuous scanned models to find here on Patreon.
But first, HDRI!

Sometimes I suffer from insomnia, so I just lay there in bed, endlessly rolling around and just can't seem to find a comfortable position. The brain is still in some kind of production mode. However these occations are sometimes the ones where you get the best ideas and I guess much of our proprietary texture scanning hardware we're currently building came to existence this way.
Last night I was trying to figure out the best ways of photogrammetry and what I could use it for, runn...

I'm reading this book (in swedish) about econimcs and pricing strategies. It has some really good information and points so I translated a small part of it into English. I know it might be a really boring read (even though I certainly don't think so), but it's VERY useful and can of course be applied even in our world of business.

I realized that I didn't record the making of the stairs. However, It's basically just box and extrude, so it's nothing fancy at all. If you have any questions about it, obviously feel free to reach out!
As for the curtains, ignore them since they are being completely replaced.

First video in a series covering basically all my most used preset shaders. I realize when editing that I didn't actually talk anything about the presets themselves, the reasons for it etc, but I'll get more into that.
This videos covers the concrete and oak veneer texture from Texture Supply. If you don't have them already I can really recomend taking a look at them either on hs page here on Patreon or his gumroad site. Slowly I'm replacing all my "go to-textures" with these.

Thank you guys for the great feed back on my HDRI question. So it seems most of you guys think it would be a valuable thing here on Patreon, so I went ahead and ordered the gear.
Here's a very first test, it's not optimal, I haven't even started trying to find the best workflows yet. However the final resolution is 25000x12500px and the sharpness and dynamic range is really good!
Will be spending some time with this, but first I'll gotta record a material presets video!

I'm thinking of (re)investing in some gear for capturing hdri light maps. If so I would make hdris with high res backplates for archviz and automotive rendering. Hdris would be about 23x11k pixels and really high dynamic range. Backplates would be 42mpix.
It ends up at about 2000 euro, so before spending it, I want to hear with you guys if this is something you would be interested in and value here on my Patreon, or if you think you wouldn't have any real use for it?

Speaking of Ash Thorp, I wanted to try to recreate one of his scenes from "Awaken Akira", just for the purpose of figuring things out, Kept working on it though, and ended up with something slightly different (for better or for worse).
What I think is really cool though, is that this is 100% straight out of FStorm, no post processing have been made what so ever.
Making of like this are coming up here on Patreon as well. Even if this has nothing to do with arch...
