The Scope of The Seven Realms

Hey everyone,

I just thought I'd write a quick post to let you all know the scope of what we have planned for The Seven Realms. We've spoken about this on Discord, but I thought it might be useful to have an official post detailing it.

The Seven Realms will be a total of Seven episodes.

We will be referring to each of these episodes as a Realm.

In our current plan, each Realm will have around 10 - 13 updates.

Version 0.7 Release Date (The Seven Realms)

Hey everybody,

This Friday (1st), we will be releasing version 0.7 of The Seven Realms.

It will offer around half an hour of new gameplay and will move the story forward.

Fun fact, initially, Kali was supposed to be a man called Odin. The story was different at the start, so it was more logical for this character to be male. However, on a dog walk one day, I suggested the idea of the character change to Jay, and he ultimately agreed. And Odin became Kali. I still miss my little Odin. He was so cool and a great bro for Atlas. But I think it was the best decision as Kali quickly became one of my favourites.

Naya - Behind The Scenes (The Seven Realms)

When creating the characters for the story, I spent a long time thinking about who Naya is and what her place within the world would be. She is a Werewolf and the only female Alpha. There is also a dark prophecy surrounding her that foretells she will kill the Moon, the goddess of the werewolves. The prophecy causes a lot of hostility between her and other wolves inside and out of her pack.

Bug Fix - Version 0.6.1

Hi all,

Just a quick post to say that we have released a small bug-fix update expanding on version 0.6. This is only applicable to the Windows, Linux and Mac versions of the game.

- Fixed an issue for some players when trying to access the Extras/Gallery Menus.

- Fixed an issue where some players could not advance through dialogue using the spacebar.

I appreciate that it was a lot. I tried to deliver it in a way that said enough of what needed to be described without getting too granular with every element. I'm sure there will be some people who think there was too much exposition and others who think I didn't describe things in enough detail. I hope that I was able to strike a good balance.

Hey everybody,

Sorry for being a little quiet over the past week. We took a couple of days off and have been hard at work on the game since.

We have a few announcements about what to expect for the rest of June:

This Saturday (18th), we will be releasing version 0.6 of The Seven Realms.

It's still not quite finalised, and we haven't done any timed playthroughs of it yet, but it will likely be the usual amount of playtime compared to our previous update...

Well, we didn’t meet Kerros, but Solana. I always planned on Solana appearing here instead of Kerros. Sorry, not sorry.

Hey everybody,

We’re planning to release Update 4 of The Seven Realms this Sunday (15/05/22).

In the meantime, we still need to finalise a few bits and playtest it.
