Quite a monumental task, that I began a year ago has been finally completed.
It takes you from the landings at D-Day to the eventual surrender of Germany in May 1945. One day at a time.

Crating animation is quite taxing and I need a bit of rest from it, therefore the next episode will be with drawings. It will cover the US foreign wars.
After that we'll be back to the Western Front with a fully narrated episode.

Almost a month has passed since the last post and finally all the data has been compiled. We now have frontline and unit setups for 338 days from the Normandy landings to the final German surrender.
Now it is time to move into a lengthy polishing phase. During it the animation will be made smoother around the edges and numerous glitches will be eliminated.
Some more progress this week.
I would like to make this video as good as possible, so if you have any ideas on how this format could be improved (different visuals, extra features, etc), let me know!

Due to the fact that we are starting with the Eastern Front on the World War Two channel, there have been significant delays with my own productions.
As a result the next animated map video (Estonia 1941) is 90% ready, but I don't have the time to finish it.
On the positive side, there might be a hope of getting a Eastern Front in real time video on a divisional level sometimes in the future.
