The Great Epstein Backstab (E332)

Many Trump voters were under the naive impression that his administration would release information about Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirators in his child trafficking operation. So it came as a shock when the DOJ released a memo claiming that they couldn’t find any “client list,” there is no evidence of Epstein blackmail activities, and they did not find “evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.” 

Not even MAGA loyalists are buying this.

Jake, Julian, and Travis try to make sense of the DOJ’s blundering attempt to put an end to Epstein chatter, discuss how the memo contradicts previous statements by FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, and explore whether this is scandalous enough to fracture Trump’s base for good.

The Hunt For Liberal QAnon (Premium E297)

Is there actually a liberal equivalent to QAnon? Travis doesn’t think so.

But there are anonymous entities and online communities that bear some of the noxious elements of QAnon, despite being liberal. In this episode we explore two of them. 

First, we take a look at the “Alt National Park” social media accounts. These are anonymous “resistance” accounts that got started during Trump’s first term, but took a strange turn when they moved to Bluesky. 

Then we explore the 4 AM Club, a loose community of spiritual women on Tik Tok who believe that they were awakened to something significant the day after the 2024 presidential election.

As various fields in the medical sciences advance during the interwar period, doctors confront a problem: the treatment of adults who desire to change their sex. While many clinicians propose psychotherapy, a few dotted across the Western world have a different idea: use newly synthesized hormones and surgical procedures to treat them. We Got This Episode Before GTA 6 (Premium E288)

There is no bigger franchise in the video game business than Grand Theft Auto by Rockstar Games. So naturally, fans of open-world criminal mayhem descend into wild dot-connecting in the years before each hotly-anticipated release.

The next installment, GTA 6, has been delayed and is now slated for release on May 26th of 2026.
