Art For Sale Update: Vroom Socko Pages Added To Original Art List

A customer asked about some pages from the Vroom Socko (Hectic Planet) comic, and I pulled the envelope yesterday and priced everything out that's available. The page above was sold some time ago, but it's the only interior page I have a ready scan of. I also scanned the three color pages from the original Deadline run of the comic, those pages were inked and colored by Glyn Dillon. I'll post them here soon. Update On The Hand

Tomorrow morning I have an EMG appointment to check out if the electrical activity in the muscles in my arm and hand are screwy. Or, rather, why they might be screwy, because they are screwy for sure. If I hold up my arm for ten or fifteen seconds my fingers start to tingle and go numb. Can't hold pencils or pens for long, a lot of muscle spasming and some shakiness. Swear I ain't been drinking anything but water, officer.

The Urbz: Central Station 4-Page Comics (Electronic Arts,2004)

In 2004 Sarah and I were hired to do a 4-page comic for a then-new Sims game called The Urbz (along with Pete Bagge, Jay Stephens, Chynna Clugston-Flores, Jim Mahfood, James Kochalka and other creators). Covid Update 6/26/23

Still tired and weak, still eating very little, but I tested negative for being a carrier! Huzzah and all that stuff.

I'm not coughing much at all, throat isn't hurting, still hve the dizzies. In a few days I will call the neurologist for an appointment for my arm. I've got anti-inflammation meds on the way but I have to wait to use them because they will throw off neurology testing (and conflict with my Fluvoxamine). I just want to get the arm taken care of so I can feel better and sle...

Covid Update 6/21/23

Hey, folks. Definitely getting better but still sick, still weak, coughing, sleeping most of the time. Sarah had mild symptos and has been taking precautions, so far the offspring has been free of trouble, thankgully. 

Can't eat much, besides the taste issues I can't seem to keep much down. Drinking a lot of water, eating mostly saltine crackers and Jell-O. The good thing is I can read, the first week I was so dizzy I couldn't do much of anything but listen to old radio shows and h...

Quick Update 5/13/23

Thursday I had my doctor's appointment. I got a referral to a neurologist for my arm and hand issues. I didn't get pain meds because they would compromises the neurology tests. 

I cam home, fell asleep, woke up the next day. Felt awful. Thought it was the wildfire smokw, which got through a lot of our old windows and was really bad last week (air still poor)Slept most of the day. Saturday I tested positive for Covid and have been mostly in bed since. I am on day three of Paxlovid. ...

My drawing/typing hand is currently up on blocks for extended periods of time (earliest doctor's appointment I could get is June 8th), so, replies might be slow in coming, if there's a decent number of responses.

Fading Newsprint: Supergirl Adventures Is 25 Years Old

Originally planned as an oversized Supergirl one-shot, delays in the two-part episode debuting the character in the Superman animated series (which Sarah and I co-wrote) caused it to be published as issue #21 of the Superman Adventures title. It was supposed to complement a Batgirl Animated one-shot, which is why both Bruce Timm covers mirror one another. It was eventually published in May, 1998.

Sorry it's been a while to get back to the World's Funnest Restrospective, but we're finally in the Fifth Dimension. On the planet Zrfff.
