The sun is shining and it's starting to warm up. I think this is all I need for the start of the weekend. This week went by quickly and the St. Patrick's Day festivities feel like they haven't stopped. Would you really mind if I stayed this way? That sun is going to feel so good on my skin.

Throwback Thursday ~ The Nomad Hotel

These photos were taken at The Nomad Hotel in Las Vegas. It's a unique boutique hotel on the top 8 floors inside Park MGM. It has its own entrance, lobby, bar and restaurant. It reminded me of a pied-à-terre in Paris. Wonderfully decorated and comfortable, the Nomad Suite Royale was one of my favorite suites to be photographed in Las Vegas, so far.

Somehow, my seam is in need of some adjustment. Must be too much rolling around. It's a cold rainy day here in Las Vegas and it really makes me want to crawl back in bed. I could think of worse things to do. It's been such a good week, but I'm ready for the weekend.

Whiskey Wednesday

Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon is today's pick for Whiskey Wednesday. This was a wonderful and thoughtful Birthday gift, along with the pantyhose I am wearing. I love receiving new whiskeys that I haven't tried before! This bourbon didn't seem as sweet to the taste in the beginning and seemed more complex, which I really enjoyed.

Afternoon light

There is something very sexy about being inside on a cold day and feeling the sun warm you through a large window. It makes me want to stretch out like a cat and relax in all that warmth. Growing up in California, I never got to experience a snow day when everyone gets a surprise holiday. I think that would be bonus, unless you had to actually deal with the weather. I can imagine all kinds of things to do being temporarily trapped in a big warm house. What are some of your favorite snow days?...

Saturday Blues

I'm back in Las Vegas and I dreamt of skiing all night long! I already miss it! I had so much fun and I was so excited that it actually snowed one of the days. Much was not expected during the week and it ended up snowing about 5 inches. It was such a sweet surprise!

But, I am happy to be back home and it felt really good to be back in my bed. I missed my soft sheets & pillows.

Throwback Thursday

A little mix of legs and feet today! I absolutely love the cream and black high heels with the bow that is part of this set. I don't have them anymore and I have no idea what happened to them. I think a friend borrowed them, and never gave them back 😞. Although, I'm not a fan of platform heels, I made an exception for these, as I love an ivory & black heel.

I'm taking liberties and making today Gluhwein Wednesday since I'm in the snow this week! Gluhwein is mulled wine, which, if some of you don't know, is wine heated with sugar and spices and is drunk warm as a traditional winter drink in some countries, especially Germany and Austria. Friday is finally here and I am going to be spending the weekend getting ready for my ski trip next week!  I am really looking forward to getting away for a few days in the mountains. Throwback Thursday

This is a throwback to my ski trip to Aspen a couple years ago. I got to stay in a gorgeous condo right at the bottom of Ajax (Aspen Mountain). There was a huge balcony with a hot tub facing the side of the mountain. I could watch the skiers coming down the moutain, as my achy, but happy muscles relaxed in the hot water. I remember one evening, sitting in the hot tub, sipping Champagne and it started to snow. It was so perfect! It's a magical town with amazing mountains, restaurants and shops...
