Hey! Here's a new painting for you guys. I felt like painting another forest scene, I hope you like it!
This one ended up being kind of a 2-in-1 scene, and took a bit longer than I had hoped. The extra couple of days I spent did help a lot in making me happier with the end result, so I'm kinda glad I didn't undercook it just to hit arbitrary deadlines I set for myself. Hopefully you guys appreciate that as well. 😅

After the pin-up style illustration last time I felt like doing something more complex, so here's the result of that, I hope you like it! The compositions for these illustrations with multiple characters always turn into a bit of a puzzle. Hopefully it turned out well!
It looks like Luke's friends have got some neat tricks to encourage him to keep going more than just a few rounds. I wonder if they've got other interesting spells too. 😏

Tried something a bit more like a pin-up this time around. I know some of you have said you prefer those, so I hope you like this one! I can never get enough of these water nymphs lol. And painting moss, stones and sand by a riverside is deeply relaxing to me, so I had fun. 😄 Will probably return to something with a bit more action in the next one. There's a chance I might want to paint the demon girl sketch I included here, but I might wanna do a few more sketches too, so we'll see! ...

I think I've mentioned it in the past as well, but I've for a long time played around with the idea of gel/goo conjuring as one of the types of magic in the world my characters are a part of, so here's another painting inspired by that idea. Luke is getting some first-hand experience with how useful and versatile this magic is. 😄

Like I mentioned before, the forest scenes are the ones I usually end up enjoying most after I'm done with them, so I'm glad I did this one. Water nymphs are always fun too. :) I'm looking forward to painting the next piece!

I just wanted to briefly mention that I've set up a Discord server where you can choose to turn on notifications for when I start my live streams, or for when I post new stuff here on Patreon. I've been made aware email notifications aren't ideal for everyone, so it's nice to have options!

Did some rough sketches today, I hope you like them! They're both iterations of the same scenario kind of. They're two elves who love to surround themselves with gold and riches, and there's no shortage of people who give them what they want. I wonder why. :)
I'm partial towards the bottom sketch personally, so that's likely to be the next illustration coming up!

Just wanna share some sketches as well as a little peek at the lighting layer for the illustration I've been working on most recently. Trying something out with how to do the lighting there, and it's working out relatively well I think. I'll probably talk more about that in the finished illustration's post. Hey! Just wanted to share the thing I'm working on. Having fun with this one!
I'm further along than this, but I wanted to share this to show an example of where in the process I'd love to focus on getting to more easily. I feel like I've got pretty good control over everything that comes after this stage, but the early stages are more challenging to me. I guess that means there's more gesture drawing and value studies in my future. :)
