Today in the category: "I can't believe I never posted this!" We have the actual kind of old piece I did for school from when I actually still did stuff for school.

For my second digital illustration/character design class one of my final projects was to take a character, either mine or from some other media and redesign it in another style.

She is pretty much finished but I'm not gonna do the rest because I relized (maybe too late) that the style I was working with didn't fit what I had in mind. You see, behind her there was going to be a cartoonishly large speaker blasting loud music. But the style I drew her in invited the speaker to be drawn in a more realistic way thus limiting the movement the thing would have.

I Finally got to make a reference sheet for the doll ^^

And I really have been wanting to work on this because this one has was something of a challenge due to the doll size. All the whisperers refs work with the same scale. That's why there's such an empty space on Nicole's one.

Here's kind of a weird wip of a very little part of a Piece I'm working on. The piece will feature, among other things, some vinyls and while making the composition of these I realized that some feature very recognizable "human figures" from afar. So I'm doing a couple of "reinterpretations of the most visibles.

December Lights.

I'd like to try to have more but in case I don't this may be my final big holiday piece for the Year. 

The idea for this one is quite simple. Came up with it when I put on the lights on the windows of my house and it has been pretty fun to go around without turning the regular lights and using only the christmas ones. Besides the neighbours' lights that to be honest did a way better job in their decorations as usual.
