I’m reading reports of folks who sadly, perished in the cold of the blizzard and arctic bomb weather.
It’s about 1:30am and thoughts are swirling through my mind like a blizzard. Thoughts of those who left home for one last Christmas gift or a quick trip to the grocery store. Folks who were hoping for help that never came. My heart is sore from it all.

All is good from the doctor, I’m just doing too much too soon so I need to back off and accept that even though I think my body is ready, it’s just not yet. But at least there’s not any major problems 🙏 I’m extremely thankful for that.

A few days ago I wrote that I was feeling a bit upside down. Still feeling that way today. Yesterday got pretty intense healthwise. But I think I’ve put the pieces together. Things don’t always go as planned so I anticipate that change is inevitable.
It seems that in my best days, I’m out and about. Usually trying to keep my body moving and my mind busy. In fact I’ve felt so well that I’ve been out of the house all day since Dec 3rd. Returning well after sunset. That’s incredible progress and I’m thankful and thrilled for it!

So, this has been one wild ride!
I wrote about not healing as I would like and recently found out why. What I thought was the flu ended up being much worse. After 14 days of chronic pain, unable to nourish or heal my body, I found a good GI specialist and I’m now on the road to recovery now. I’m back in solid food.
