Baldness can strike fear in any man's heart, and lead a man to seek out desperate solutions. Such as believing an insect-seller's claim that letting a certain type of mite lay their eggs in your scalp will stimulate hair growth.

Now he's just got a bald streak down the center of his head and thus he potentially has a claim for untruthful selling practices, but that insect guy's already moved on and is probably hundreds of miles away by now so whadda ya gonna do.

The exiles from an enclave don't necessarily put much distance between themselves and their old homes; they are just marked as unwelcome, and undeserving of any protection or assistance from the rest of the population.

Merry Thanks Year!

I've been looking around my apartment lately, standing and silently contemplating that I'm able to live here, keep my fridge stocked and not worry (overly much) about how I'm going to pay the bills, entirely because a portion of the people who read my comics felt it was worth supporting with a few dollars of their hard-earned cash.

I think about that a lot, and find myself appreciating all of you more and more each time. You've all given me the chance to do this full-time, and I feel it...
