What was an attempt to go back and take more seriously the folks I dismissed easily in a video from last year led to the discovery that no, The Golden One really is just a swedish bodybuilding nazi.

The Killing Joke Movie and The Problem With Comics

This is a video that got voted for on Twitter. It started out as being an exploration of Batgirl in relation to the bad killing joke adaptation, but became something more broad in the process of being made.

New Bonus Video: Cut Live Bits from the Bloodborne video

I shot a weird sketch for the video that I decided, while shooting, to cut out. Here it is, along with the other bit I filmed that really didn't fit once I realised it would have been the only live bit in a feature-length video!

I'm editing the Bloodborne playthrough footage for upload now. I want to have the playthrough and an archive of all the streams up for backers asap.

Sorry I didn't post this on Patreon last night, although I had the excuse of watching the world start to melt.

I got a new microphone today and will probably put  some tests up soon because I'm not sure about it yet, along with bonus stuff. I feel ill today but tomorrow expect at least one bonus thing!

I Filmed Myself Watching The Alt Right Dogs Trailer

As the title suggests, this is very off-the-cuff and was unplanned but the footage turned out pretty good (if overexposed). It's quite different from what I normally do. Let me know what you think, if you folks think I should never do anything like this again I'll definitely take that onboard.

The next videos will feature real actual analysis of video games and some gamedev stuff of my own is coming up as a bonus thing as soon as possible!

Quick Update

I have a video about Sargon's Law coming out soonish, but I am currently focusing on getting out some bonus content, working on my game, and getting a nice archive of my streams up and running. Thank you all, once again, for all of your support!

After a catastrophic crash and multiple data losses, I managed to finally finish this video.

It's been a weird month. Between crashes and a week of bad illness I haven't done as much as I'd liked.

What Makes An Action Scene Good?

Trying my hand at a Video Essay about movies.

If you guys like this sort of thing I can do some more. I'm trying to carve out a space where I can talk about different art and media in whatever way I feel is appropriate or interesting or entertaining. I like testing the limits of my style and focus.

Let me know what you folks think and I'll keep it in mind for the future. Even if it's a definitive 'no never do this again', it's worth doing it to find out!

Channel Update!

Just thought I'd give my folks an update on what's going on on the channel.

Coming in the next couple days is a video essay about how violence can be used to tell a story in movies. Based on how people respond to it, there might be more in the same style, or maybe it'll be a one-and-done type thing. If you liked the Fallout video this will be similar, but obviously not about video games.

Then, expect bonus stuff for a while. I want to do a week of JUST putting out stuff for backe...

I had another video planned, but then someone linked Davis' video to me and I couldn't resist.
