I spent almost all of the weekend and today working on and debugging the equipment menu. Took me almost all day to get the item giving function to work. Either way, I have that nearly taken care of, and soon I'll be working on actually equipping items and having their stats effect the player stats. Hey folks.
I left a comment on a past post saying I'd be able to get the update out by this weekend or before because I wouldn't be busy this week. Welp, turns out that was a lie since I have an exam tomorrow that I needed to study almost all of today on. That being said, you should still be able to expect an update before next Monday, but it might be late in the weekend. I've been experimenting with some aesthetic effects that I think will be welcome additions to the current system.

Welp, it was pretty unanimous. Only 17 percent of those who voted did so in favor of the first option, so from now on I'll be putting more focus uniqueness rather than variety or randomness. Hi everyone, just reporting in the work I've gotten done lately. The other day, I got caught up in adding the functions for when the player gains an item or clothing. It was way more complex than I expected, and took a good 3 hours to get it working properly and then the rest of the day to recreate the event for the other item types. I've been doing some work on the equipment menu, which of course first means I need to create a list of equipment along with any stats they will have, and a player's current equipped items list as well.
