Okay, I’ll admit it—I didn’t see this coming. I was looking for some backups to restart a The Sims 4 series, but my attention suddenly shifted to a long-lost folder from an unfinished 2022 project. That’s when I thought: “Heeey! This is the perfect opportunity to bring Pleasantview to life, especially after what we did with OldTown in the past few weeks!”
At first, I wondered: “

It’s not uncommon, when encountering projects like this, to see players and creators striving to present the biggest and best version of Pleasantview, especially given how much affection we have for it. However, that wasn’t my goal here.
Taking a different approach, I aimed to recreate an experience similar to The Sims 2, intentionally leaving parts of the map less dense without plants and ensuring it is 100% base-game compatible. The design is simple yet functional.

Classic Sunset is my recreation of the Sunset Valley Beta, a nostalgic milestone for The Sims 3 fans. During the rebuilding process, one of the biggest challenges was redesigning the Rabbit Holes, aiming to respect the classic look while adding a fresh touch that enhances the essence of the base game.
These revamped Rabbit Holes have been carefully adjusted to align with the aesthetic of the original Sunset Valley, with a few improvements to ensure both functionality and charm. Every de...

This project was a fast-paced, intense, and ambitious journey. It all began with the question: "Is it possible to create an entire neighborhood in just one day?" Then I thought, "What if I did it in 5 hours?" And that's exactly what I did. In 2024-11-09 18:44:00 +0000 UTC

It's been a while since our last post. I wanted to show you some of the progress we've been making!!
I've been working hard on the pieces to make sure they convey the right feeling while also making your lots even more special. In other words, some of the pieces I've made are being edited so they can convey the true rabbit hole feel.
We currently have 39 new pieces. In other words, the time I've been taking has provided an even greater variety of pieces. I appreciate your patience...

I'm very excited to share with all of you the next step of the Modular Build! While our first set focused exclusively on simple geometric pieces, our next set will be entirely dedicated to allowing you to rebuild Rabbit Holes with surprising accuracy!
What I've done here is isolate certain parts of these lots and extract them so you can build your own enterable buildings! The concept is simple but powerful!
Something important you need to know is that, since I still don’t know h...

A few minutes ago, I shared a post on Tumblr (HERE) showing some of the progress with the new modular pieces I’m creating, along with a brief commentary. I wanted to give you a first-hand look at the impact of modularity, especially for community lots. I know that many of you, like me, would love to visit and explore the interiors of certain bu...

I wanted to show you how the current frames can be combined with the new ones to create enchanting results! In this example, we see the OldSunset region, which I had shared before, but this time with the buildings colorized and pre-finalized in modular terms, now incorporating the new frames.
I'm creating Window Frames based on the Rabbit Holes from The Sims 3, and I'm also taking other elements from these buildings and converting them into modular frames, such as the frame on the corni...

If you love telling unique and challenging stories in The Sims 3, get ready for something that will transform your game! I’m working on a new mod that brings a realistic street survival experience, adding an extra layer of difficulty for those who enjoy stepping out of the conventional.
🎨 Inspiration: I have to admit, I’m a terrible survivalist in the game! I’m always selling workbenches to buy food, then selling the bed to get another workbench, and so on...

This project began with a clear vision: to transform the way you view and build your spaces in The Sims. Over the years, I felt the need to offer more possibilities for those who, like me, want to pay attention to the small details and create truly unique and personalized builds. Molding, trims, cornices, and baseboards are often underestimated, but it’s these details that make a build special and memorable.
I wanted to combine the sophistication of traditional plaster moldings with t...

A few days ago, after failing to convert my set of Modular Build for The Sims 2, I started tinkering with shaders in The Sims 3. Eventually, I managed to restore the glass shaders used before the release of The Sims 3 World Adventures.
It's very likely that this expansion updated and added a greater variety of shaders to the game. The interesting thing here is that, while many people thought we would need to break shaders to get there, in reality, we just needed to modify them!

Some time ago (in March), I shared one of the last updates on OldSunset. As you know, OldSunset has always been quite an ambitious project! I believed that in the future, many of the limitations we faced in 2012 would be resolved. And indeed, many have been. However, even today, on a high-end PC, running a massive world with over 200 lots and a multitude of Sims is impossible without crashes or errors. ...

I’m excited to share some information with you about a new mod I’m working on for The Sims 3! 🌍 This mod allows for an immersive and realistic street survival experience, adding a whole new layer to the game for those who want to tell unconventional stories.

I’ve spent the last 16 hours tirelessly working to revitalize as many items as I could! And guess what? All glass doors, ALMOST all windows, and every vehicle in the game are now enjoying this new material.
In the GIF above, you can clearly see how it HARMONIZES all the elements in the scene. The trims no longer stand out awkwardly as before, the glass adds more depth to the scene, and everything looks even better, more realistic, and more cohesive with the changes we're implementing....

I can hardly believe what I’ve managed to do!
Well, if you’re from the 2009 era of The Sims 3, before the release of World Adventures, you definitely know all the things we had to give up to keep moving forward.
It was during this period and with this update that the shadow between floors was broken, but it wasn’t the only thing. The window reflections were never the same again. Although there was a faint reflection, it was far from what it was in the base game. I don’t kn...

Frames have the power to tell stories, convey messages, and beautify each place they adorn. Frames show us the delicacy, care, attention, and love invested in what we observe. However, it was extremely challenging to clearly showcase what was in our minds—until now. Although there are incredibly talented people who create art using the limited tools available in The Sims, this barrier is about to be broken. A set of simple geometric models is coming, and with it, a world of infinite possibi...

Reinventing how things work in The Sims 3 may seem simple at first. In theory, I thought that adjusting a gear here and there would make the game suitable for my best needs. However, when your ambition is to make them as credible and realistic as possible, things get more complicated.
With Get Out, we brought life to the neighborhood, making it a true protagonist in your Sims' st...

This is a simple mod that replaces the texture of the Waterfall and Waterfall Drop effects. This effect gives the waterfall more body and makes it fall smoother. It's not necessarily REALISTIC but in my opinion it fits better with the aesthetic of the game we're building from all of our replacement and lighting mods.

F.a commented the following less than a week ago: "Hello! I have a mod suggestion, why don't you make a mod that adds more "together interactions" to objects that can be used by multiple sims, for example, you know how in sims 4 when you form a group, group interactions are really convenient since with one click you can tell a whole groups of sims to do one thing together instead of clicking one by one manually or just hoping that they do if the sim is not one of your active ones since also v...
