Attack anims are reset each time they play. What that means is the full anim always plays correctly, from the beginning, instead of occasionally playing starting from halfway into the animation. This also means the enemy's hurt-flash should play at the right frame of the party member's attack.
Beth's sprite now slashes twice if she attacks twice, and thrice if she attacks more than twice (to clarify, when it says "ENEMY took X damage Y times.")
Diana now shoots/slashes extra times...

I had this idea for a game, it'd be a RPG and whatnot of course, different from Sonderweg/Slime Dungeon since the main char would be more of a blank slate. Since the enemy sprites would be forward-facing and take up the whole screen.

I shall try to be brief! I may have mentioned before, but late February, my car broke down and with that came a spiral of events. Essentially, I had to do 10, sometimes 15 hours of overtime each week at my already full-time job just to break even on Uber costs and attempts to repair. Well, I already had a lot of monster sprites by another artist, but I wanted to give special attention to party member sprites and designs. So I commissioned this from Swayzie! He's a great dude and helped cheer me on from the beginning. I love the sci-fi themed stuff he does, even if it's a little scarce @.@
Of course I'm not gonna promise being able to have him draw all sprites since party members have like 6 sprites minimum in Sonderweg and that's a lotta $, another artist...

I was thinking, sprites looked out of place against the background, and realized lighting was the issue. Of course I'l probably have someone add proper cel shading to the scientist, now I have used some CSS magic to automatically create shadows for sprites. It will take a little more work to make the shadows change to match attack animations, but totally feasible. Yay!

Here's the base Blackbird sprite, in-game it will be tinted black (to match the description). I will see if I can get a version with more highlights/shadows, feels a little flat compared to the other sprites, but I'm pretty satisfied. Anyway, I also have the finished BG for the sci-fi game, this is not the full rez but you get the idea. There are a few alternate palette versions as well, for when a more exotic/alien planet vibe is needed.

You can now 'destroy' the nature room, and will need to do so in order to weaken Part 1's boss. (That is, the process involved to weaken its connection to nature is more involved than just 'visit nature room' now). This will also unlock a new area.

Acid Bolt now deals Water damage instead of Nature, adds Melting instead of Def Down. It was formerly redundant with the Nature dmg provided by Toxic Strike.
