I'm still learning to // Love

I don't know when, but somewhere along the timeline of my life, I no longer allowed myself to receive love. Perhaps it was a defense mechanism, or maybe it was just too dangerous. Whatever the reason, I closed the door and bolted it shut.

Love soon became an urban myth, something I only saw in movies. I read books and recited poetry trying to feel something again but the idea of love remained a fantasy.

Relationships became transactional, a partner to stand by my side, company on ...

Honestly, I'm not a fan of freehiking!

It's at the top of every naturist bucklist to go nude hiking. The sun on your skin, the breeze against your back and the simple lack of clothing. You really do become one with mother nature.

The term freehiking has been used by naturists for decades to describe the activity of naked hiking. It was adopted by hikers after the sport of freeskiing gained popularity in the 1990s.

I've been told many times over that I had to try it and when I got the opportuni...

Patreon Update // I've been MIA

First of all, I'm sorry! I went totally off grid for a moment there, but I guess that's travelling, right? I don't pre-schedule posts on my social media platforms, I like to write & post whatever I'm feeling in the moment, but that also means you don't hear from me when I go trekking deep into the Laos jungle.

I've spent the past 3 days in the world's highest treehouse, technology free & hot water free 🥶 but how can you complain when you've got a jungle view!

Skinny dipping in a hidden lagoon in Thailand

This hour hike to this Lagoon was sketchy AS FUCK! But totally worth the death risk.

We were very happy to find only one person there at the time so we took the opportunity to strip off for a well deserved skinny dip!

Would you do this hike?

Location: The Lagoon, Railay Beach Thailand.

I didn't post last week & this is why.

Life Update // We're currently in Pai, Thailand. This place was recommended time and time again so we said all right, looks like we've got to go!

But the day we arrived the strangest thing happened. I was hit with overwhelming sadness and I couldn't shake it. I've been suffering from bad anxiety for majority of this trip but not depression, I thought I had left that behind when I left Australia but here I was face to face with my old friend.

So here I was in the magical land of...

Me? A model? Yeah, ya kidding.

I always got told growing up... you should try modelling! That I had a photogenic face. Whatever that meant? Well, I tried it and at the time I HATED IT!

To all my anxious people, imagine ALL the attention on you and then being critiqued and told that it's not good enough. Big no from me.

But it wasn't until I embarked on my naked jounrey that I started to fall back into the modelling space... accidentally.

It started with taking naked yoga portraits. The shape and line...

Bat Cave, Railay Beach Thailand

I haven't had many chances to get naked while traveling through Thailand but as soon as I saw this beauty I stripped off in record time and soaked up the incredible view (with a few toots of passing boat drivers 😅)

But getting to this spot wasn't easy! Thai people like to leave you clues instead of arrows pointing you in the right direction... We hiked across a beach, found a little path leading into the trees which then led us into a cave. 3 dodgy ladders later we found the bat ca...

This moment was magic ✨️

When we first started planning our 4 month backpacking trip, I was adamant that I wanted our first stop to be somewhere peaceful. I told Anna I wanted to wake up to the sounds of crashing waves each day, to wave goodbye to the setting sun each night. I was desperate for stillness. Just 1 week, I said. Please just 1 week to find myself again.

And this right here is what she booked us. This moment was magic ✨️

Cookin' up a feast in my birthday suit

When I'm at home, I hardly step foot in the kitchen but there's just something about being in nature that brings out the inner chef in me! I absolutely LOVE to cook while camping and to be able to strip down to my birthday suit just tops it off!

This was a random camp-site we found while traveling through QLD. We didn't stay the night, we just cooked, ate and hit the road again.

What's your thoughts on cooking naked? Maybe an apron?

I find it fascinating...

I find it fascinating when I hear people say "oh, my partner would never let me do that" as though they need permission as there partner were their parent.

This idea of ownership within a relationship absolutely baffles me. This may have been the way things were 100 years ago when women didn't even have the right to vote but here we are in the 2022 with more power at our hands than ever imagined and some still remain under the thumb of their significant other.

I see this alot, ...

Naked yoga... & dogs?!

These images were just too cute not to share with you all! A few months ago I was shooting for a naked yoga challenge for Get Naked Australia but these 2 little fluff balls just wanted to be apart of the action and have their 5 minutes of fame.

Their names are Benji (golden coat) and Essie (white coat). They are not my dogs, I was just dog sitting them for a period of time 😊

Rainbow Sea Caves, Munmorah State Conservation Area

Remincimg about one of my favourite spots in Sydney... well the Central Coast! Rainbow Sea Caves is an absolute beauty and another must see! Not only is it seculded (10 minute bush bash) but it has 3 Caves!!

Image of me alone is the first cave and the image with friends is the 2nd cave. The 2nd cave can only be accessed during low tide through a small opening in the rocks.

I think this may have been one of my coolest naked adventures yet!

Entering my villain era

When I first started on my naturist journey I was adamant about promoting and posting NON-SEXUAL nudity. I would only post images of me located in a nature setting, in a non provocative position. I would talk about how nudity WAS NOT sexual and would not allow conversations of a sexual nature to evolve. I did this because I believed I was protecting the women who I thought needed protecting. Women who are seen as nothing but sexual objects, tantilized by the male gaze.

But after some s...

A cold winters night

There is something so primal about sitting around a fire naked, especially when you started it yourself 🔥

Enjoying a cold winters night around a fire in the backyard with Anna. Taking a moment to appreciate this life I've created for myself.

Malaysia has been weird, man.

I have been travelling through Malaysia going on 2 weeks now. There wasn't any particular reason we decided we would pin point the start of our travels here, it was just easy to fly into and even easier to travel out of.

We knew the laws on homosexuality before we arrived, but there's only so much you can mentally prepare yourself for your romantic lover to become your platonic friend.

Same sex sexual activity is criminalised in Malaysia with a penalty of upto 20 years in jail ...

My journey as a naked yoga teacher

If I am going to be completely honest (which I always am), when I first started teaching naked yoga I underestimated the potency of these classes, the power, and the potential I held in my hands.

I saw naked yoga as a novelty, nothing more. I would stand in front of the room, say a few words and take the class through some stretches all butt naked. But as time went on and the more classes that I taught, my insecurities began to bubble to the surface. I realized I was projecting my...

Mixed emotions.

I'd been thinking about shaving my head for quite awhile and I knew the only way to lock myself into the decision was to give myself a deadline - the night before I flew out of the country.

There was a few reasons I chose this day. Firstly it was so that if I hated it no one would have to know, I could just wear a hat. Second is because I don't like attention, especially the attention around a dramatic change such as shaving all my hair off.

I wanted to do it for me.

I've been talking about entering this new chapter of mine for the past month or so and although I knew there a shift about to happen in my life, that things were about to change, it's as though I needed a dramatic physical change to make it happen.

Honestly, I've been thinking about shaving my head for awhile... it's been somethings that's been playing on my mind for a few years but I thought oh no, I could never do it. And one of the biggest reasons that held me back was what OTHER pe...

A few days ago I attended a (topless) bottomless brunch hosted by @comfortableinmyskin and as hesitant as I was to attend, I'm so glad I did!

We are so quick to give compliments and speak positively to others but why do we not share the same grace with ourselves? This event allowed all the women in the room to see their worth, their importance and begin t...

So when the spotlight hits mental health and our attention is brought it to for the month (May) I jumped at the opportunity to further highlight the importance and share peoples stories that may not have a ...

Just a quick update.

Omg. I booked myself in for a (topless) bottomless lunch!
It's an event for women to step outside of their comfort zone and talk all things breasts and yup you guessed it, with our titties out!

I'm actually super fucking nervous (yeah, weird right?!) but of course, excited as hell. It's time to free the nips over a boozy brunch baby.

Also I've been out of toilet paper for over a week now and have literally resorted to using baby wipes that I found in my camping box because...

Fighting the norm is fucking exhausting but so damn worth it 🤘

My brother called me yesterday. He is one of 3, the original brother I like to call him. We don't speak too often but we're there for each other, we have a mutual respect and an unspoken bond brought together by shared childhood trauma.

He called me to say he proposed to his girlfriend. My 22 year old brother was getting married.

Holy shit.

It was in the moment it hit me, what am I doing? Like, what's my fucking plan?

Later that night I found myself in a conversa...

People can only meet you as deep as they have met themselves

I caught up with an old friend yesterday. An old friend who used to be a close friend but then you know... being an adult got in the way and things started to fade kinda friend.

It had been awhile but I was excited to sit down with a cup of tea and spill the goss. I was busting to tell her everything I'd been up to, especially about this new boy I had met in Melbourne that I was still thinking about. But as I spoke I watched her face change... first confusion and then disapproval.
