I've been working on the quest dialogue (for the menu) for that go-between-two-people quest. You know, that stuff that 90% of players are never going to read (you know what I'm talking about if you ever played Dead Space.. Who knew Isaac could be so chatty?). At least it will help players keep track of what they were doing (unless they can't remember which character is which).

Why do they use these type of quests in games? You know, where you have to be the go-between for two characters that are basically too lazy to walk into the next room. Well they use them because it works! :D

One of the artists I commissioned seems to have a rather quick turnaround, but after the initial sketch they found out that Howleen is 14 years old. Well I've been using the same RNG (random number generator) for Sienna's faces and for the random sex animation bits. Apparently this was a bad idea. While trying to test the anal animation I set all the random numbers to always be 1. Well this didn't work out. The animations still seemed quite random, and those set to display when it is 1 are rarely seen. It became quite obvious when I temp changed the health display to instead display this number.

I need more NPCs, so this morning I'm working on converting the character sheets from RPG Maker 2K3. Paste the characters onto a new layer over a palette, space the columns out an additional 4 pixels, then cut/paste the rows' facing to go down, left, right, then up. Delete green screen, hide palette, flatten image, save, repeat with next set.
Not exactly fun, but it's necessary and been a long time coming.

Had to make a trip to The Mines for some ores for outfit upgrades. I
noticed that boulder that you knock away with the cart doesn't stay gone
(annoying bugger). Guess I need to look into that. Also, it's kindof

I finally decided to see if I could figure out the bartender's issues. Apparently when Sienna has sex with him he was turning in the wrong direction (which is why the game was locking up). Fixed that, then noticed him slowly trudging along.. so I fixed his speed.

I decided I had enough of the laggy fans on Dungeon Level 1, so I replaced them with less laggy versions. Also, I updated the monsters in The Dungeon, giving them double life and damage. Initially I gave them 5x life, but that was just annoying so I went with 2x.
This means your kids kinda get the short end of the straw though, with many starting with only 50 or so vigor. Not to mention being level 1 and all. I know they also have their upgrade trees with the stained glass thing and all,...

I made backups of the saved games and I'm now going through The Abyss, making changes and tweaks where necessary.
The (currently two existing) night events in The Abyss are a little awkward, but they do at least seem to function. I do need to adjust that a bit though. I fixed several things as I was finishing up with The Tower. I still have several tweaks I want to make (like that fight with the jailer at the end, since the background is all wrong, and stuff). While finishing up the battles at the end I noticed The Sad Muki is impossible to kill after Dillon is gone (even with Kendra's help). I decided to completely change the Sad Muki. While playtesting I decided it would be a good idea to try and fix that horrible mult-bark, multi- "There you are. It's time for your checkup." glitch on days 16 and 17. Of course this only ever happens on days 16 and 17, so most players probably don't pay the glitch much mind. I finished adding a few Vinery gates and rewards behind them. The Vinery is pretty much finished except for some boss adjustments and lightlock teleportation. Well.. assuming there are no bugs, and there probably will be. xP
