Finally managed to sit down and paint again yesterday!
I am having somewhat of an existential crisis at the moment regarding what I want my art to look like, so I am using this piece and its challenges to explore directions and options...
This way of working is obviously quite time consuming, but I am already feeling the benefits of taking a bit more time to settle the details before jumping into the full painting, and I feel a bit more at peace with my process.

Ok, so, full disclosure, this piece is giving me a lot of trouble, haha!

These paintings go back to when I went home to my hometown in France in April 2018!
I am from a biggish town in the middleish of France, right next to the Alps, and I have always wanted to go paint in the mountains. So when I went home in April, I took my paints, camera, and my dad's ridiculously heavy tripod, and when trudging through the forest to paint from life.

Hello lovely peeps,
I feel like I haven't given you any news in too long, I am so sorry. The flat hunting is taking up all my energy and time, and I feel like I'm in a whirlwind of stress and condescending estate agents.

Ok, this is a really random little poll, haha, but I wanted you guys' opinion on something...
I am thinking of maybe changing my Tier images and Titles to something more "to the point". Making the $1 tier a "Sketchbook Scan" tier for example, with an icon of a sketchbook, similar to the icons I used as header banners in my last update post.
