I'm going through a bad funk right now. I've been going through them with a pretty high frequency lately, but this one's the worst. I haven't drawn anything all week, and I haven't wanted to. I started making a new Scotia comic, because I thought that character was going to be my muse for getting back into comics, but I just got bored with it. I deleted that file and restarted the comic with Mark and Cadence with the same joke. The joke was about all the shit Ghillie had to go through being Scot...

Mary Jane won the poll. Can you all see the results of that? I know that I can, but from the perspective of a voter, when you go to the poll, can you see what the reults are? I'd rather it be a secret until I finish. Obviously I'm only asking Knights and above becuase only they can see the poll.

Sexy armor/clothes in video-games and comics have always been one of my favorite aspects of fantasy design. I don't care that they're not practical or realistic. 'Fantasy' shouldn't be about 'realism,' which is probably why I'm not a big fan of George RR Martin. I'm amused by how militant some people against skimpy armor, or about the inclusion of any fantasy in Fantasy.
That said, I'm very turned off by any of the justifications of "Oh, skimpy armor makes them more mobile," or "it...

Scotia's character sheet here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/8039313
Probably the most 'story driven' comic I would want to make with Scotia, since all it really does is introduce the character and explain what kind of Chaotic-Nuetral antihero she is. Most ideas I have sketched out involve Scotia trying to be villianous, but accidentally doing good, or trying to be a hero, and accidentally doing evil.
I'm...

So I ended up finishing this character and made one comic for her. I've got another comic half-finished. I think I just need to get it out of my system. I can't describe the general feeling of indecision I've felt these last two months. My brain is telling me I should focus on a character like Mark, since he's already established, and I kind of like a barbarian character who just goes around fucking everything over. He's also very flexible, since I can basically draw any assortment of sexy...

Lois Lane versus Mary Jane. The art didn't come out the way I was thinking, but I'm really bad at scenery (especially modern scenery) and I'm not great at spacial reasoning. Girls look okay though.
I'll post the actual poll seperatly, so if you're a Knight or above, look for that.

Probably the last Dizzy comic for a while, at least a month, since I plan to use Feb to make fantasy oriented comics, especially about Scotia the Swordswoman. Although this comic does present a named character and names a race (Cheeva the Chokan) I wouldn't plan on ever having her appear again as anything other than a background character, like the other two Star-Scouts hanging with Dizzy. The purpose of this comic is not to introduce a character or expand the lore, it's just to explain Dizzy's ...

Big Cache. Lots.
Also, for my Princes and Archdukes, I sent out the refunds I talked about for not taking commissions this month. let me know if there are any problems.

Fiona, the reformed tiefling paladin, finally confronts her former mistress on the battlefield.
I took this commission back in NOVEMBER and just finished it now. I kept putting it off because I get so stressed out by making comic-pages. I don't want to get stressed out, especially seeing how good I think this one came out, but the line-art process is an extremely tedious and unfun one, and it takes three times as long when making a comic. I love the coloring. I could color all day. ...

So I plan on spending my free time this month getting back into Mark the Adventurer, and trying to get him back to basics. I've dug up a bunch of sketches and jokes I've never gotten around to finishing, and I'm pretty happy with some of them. I really want to just have Mark be a stereotypical barbarian in some sort of generic fantasy situation. No story or background needed. No specific setting. Just a super generic fantasy world.
This drawing here is just a qui...

Should have had this done yesterday, but I've already talked about my time management. I also cut the coloring short because I need to work on another comic-page I've been neglecting that really deserves the attention.
So is this structure working for people? I'm curious, because the way this will go means I'll only get a full fight out every two weeks. One Sunday, introducing the fight and the vote, then the second Sunday showing the results, and repeat a week later.
Would y...

I like drawing characters. This is way more my speed I think. I also like the color green. For whatever reason (I don't know anything about color theory) it just takes to shading really well, and it's very easy to add glowing lights on. Regular skin tones are kind of difficult.

-First: I'm gonig to need a title for this. Brutal Bugbears B-something B-something Busty Babe, or whatever. It has to alliterate.
-Second: This comic is a good example of why I needed to take this month off. I don't know how to work effeciantly. I don't know how to moderate my time. I don't know when to stop. This image came to and end with the file reached 2GBs and I simply couldn't edit it anymore without causing my Photoshop to crash, so that's why some cells remain unshaded, and the...

Just checking, but the top version looks a lot better than the bottom, right? The top was done with traditional coloring (like painting, and choosing each color directly). The bottom one was done using the gradient method I employed for a long time. It would look better wit some refinement, but honestly it did end up taking just as long as the top version, so maybe I should just stick to tradtional coloring for now. It does take a while, but I don't get bored doing it, unlike doing the final lin...

I don't know. Now that I've drawn the character and have gotten back to my commissioned work, I'm beggining to think that I'm being too hasty and indesisive. All (but one) of the jokes I've written for a female protagonist COULD work for a male protagonist, and since Scotia here really would be just a female version of Mark (with some tonal differeneces), I'm kinda thinking I should just keep working with Mark. I might spend a while just making generic one-shots with him. No side characters, so ...

So I've really enjoyed making Dizzy the Star-Scout comics, and I'm glad I took this month off to get that all out of my system. I've got one more comic with Dizzy coming out at the end of the month, but I'm not sure what I want to do after that, once I start going back to doing paid commissions and having less time for myself.
As much as I enjoy the look and feel of Dizzy, I just don't dig sci-fi, even with heavy fantasy elements. I prefer a world with lots of walking, dragons, and clock...

So who wins in this naughty Neverland matchup? Will Wendy Darling assert her sexual dominance over Tiger Lily and ship her off to Captain Hook, or will the sexy savage smack a few orgasms out of the British Brat, and make her into the tribe's dirty cum-dump.

I'm kinda surprised I managed to get this done today, since I'm also working on another thing, but I'm glad I did. I think Sunday is a good day for these. This comic shows the other angle I can go with for fights. Rather than the fighters meeting in the ring and being introduced by Madame Goose, I can instead have the fighters face off in some sort of story scenario. I think most will be like this actually. Not that I have anothing against Madame Goose (she's fun to draw) but these scenarious ar...

A pretty satisfying end, I think, althoug I still stumbled over all the same problems I stumble over with comics, like ineffecient use of time, inconsistent coloring, and inconsistent art. It's too bad that I think this last page is the first one where I got Alice's face right. Dorothy I never really figured out. I think for the next F3L I'm going to pick two characters more in my wheelhouse. You guys can expect that Sunday or Monday I think.

So I was browsing through art on the internet, like I usually do, and I'm going through a lot of stuff by Italian artists like Milo Manara, and I re-stumbled over an artist named Alessandro Barbucci who I haven't look at in years (literally maybe 10 years) and I thought "Hey, this guy's still is a lot like what I'd want to achieve for my Dizzy character. Then I found this. This image of a character who looks A WHOLE FUCKING LOT LIKE DIZZY. I must have seen this image before, and it got imprented...

A character sheet for Prince Belind, the unfortunate foe of Princess Ariela. He inherited the throne that his parents stole from Ariela's family. He was born into a situation that I'm sure he wants no part of. I think Belind might be that kind of guy who'd be happier working in coffee-shop and living in a one-room apartment with his girlfriend/boyfriend than being a wealthy prince, but he was born a prince, and he was born with a big target on his back for Ariela.

Came across this while making my next cache (for $10 and up) and I thought I'd post it because I'll probably never finish it. It's been at least 2 months since I started it, and I'm just unhappy enough with the way Nora's head came out that I'd restart it if I really wanted to make it.
I started making this when I got back into Fallout 4. Someone suggested playing it on Surival, and WOW!, the whole game is different. It's actually fun now instead of tedious. I'm spending way more time ex...

I'm very intentionally keeping the backstory of Dizzy, the Star-Scouts, and the Astral Alliance very vague. I'm not even going to name most of the species we see. Like this cat-girl. What's her name? What's her species called? Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. World-building is the opposite of story-telling. I'll show. I won't tell. Like this comic. This is how I want to reveal that Dizzy is from Mars, which we can assume has ben colonized by humans, and that there is aparantly some sort of pride ...

So it was my original intention to have this fight end with a coin-flip, but since it get to be 2v2, I thought it would be more fun to have a vote. This is how I'll do these from now on, which will make for shorter 'comics,' usually of three pages. The set up, the vote and the actual fight, and then one final image of the aftermath.
So, who wins this fight? Alice by making Dorothy cum her brains out, or Dorothy by getting back up and knocking Alice the fuck out?

Alice won another flip. Without intending it, this first comic ended up being the longest possible length my format would allow, AND it's not done yet. Alice and Dorothy are TIED! I'm not going to decide the winner by a coin-flip. I'm going to set up a poll for my Knighs and above to vote on who they want to win, and I'll finish this in a week or somthing. After that, my plan for this series is going to be much simpler.
On a Sunday or something, I'll have a single panel story showing two...

Oh! Look at that! Alice won a flip, dragging this series out longer than I had interest for. The quality of my art drops of a cliff here. Just look at Alice in the first panel. Gross. Terrible. I could have fixed it if I took that time, but I chose not to. Why spend time on something you're not enjoying? By this point I just wanted to draw different characters beating each other up. I want to focus on one really good scene rather than a multi-panel comic. I also could never figure out how I want...

Dorothy got her second flip in a row. It was here that I started to lose interest and just wanted the fight to be over. I realized that I was essentially making a comic book one panel at a time, and I don't want to do that anymore. I think my lack of interest shows in the art which is too bad. I was hoping that my next coin flip would allow Dorothy to end the fight with a curb-stomp, but . . .

The first coin flip went in Dorothy's favor. Totally random. I started with a punch. This image is my favorite of the set. Some of the others are just really sloppily drawn because I lost interest and wanted to move on to other things. That's why I'll be switching it up from now on and making these fights shorter.
