The ice groans underfoot as you cross the lake towards the shrine. Candles sit atop the ornate sarcophagus, each a request for protection from the evils of the world.
Legends hold that a great hero named Réaltín was buried beneath the shrine, and that the lake froze forever when she was laid to rest. Many of the locals believe that Réaltín still watches over the valley.

It's been a hectic month, but I finally made it - the fifth of my January maps! This is a ruined fountain in the woods, built centuries ago. While working on the map, I envisioned it as a shrine of sorts to some long-forgotten deity.

This is another simple encounter map - a ruined bridge in the woods with some weather variants. Perhaps it simply fell apart over time, or perhaps it was destroyed to cut off supply lines or to isolate a settlement? Perhaps it was simply caught in...
As you wander through the sea of trees, you find it - a stone monolith, standing tall in the midst of a clearing. From the tree line you can just about make out faded etchings along its length - you recognise only a handful of the runes. The other, unfamiliar, carvings, strike you as almost otherworldly.
