My boyfriend hates being in crowded places, and every public place with more than 3 people in it is too crowded. He starts taking psychic damage immediately. He doesn't actually start monologuing about how much he hates it there, though, he just starts to silently suffer. That is not much better.

My boyfriend is incredibly quiet in his movements, and I am incredibly unobservant of my surroundings when I'm focused on some one specific thing, so this happens very frequently. He startles me without meaning to, because it didn't occur to him that I have no idea that he was there at all!

For recent examples, we've been watching The Blacklist, and he made this remark about the guy who lived in an abandoned schoolbus, and the guy in the secret shack with the dog (can't elaborate without spoilers for the show). My boyfriend is getting better, it seems like the antibiotics for his infection also prevented the good bacteria from doing their job, so now that he's off antibiotics, the wound is healing!
(Also sorry, I hadn't noticed that my first attempt to post today's comic ...
He somehow senses that I'm just about to get up every single time. I'm not complaining but it is inconvenient.

I'll clarify here that one great part of why the sheets are so difficult is because we have a loft bed - in order to reach 3/4s of the corners, one has to be sitting on top of the mattress.

Out of all my DIY projects, I actually managed to finish one! I didn't think to take any before -pictures, but it was originally just an ordinary, very plain and unadorned solid grey Lenovo laptop bag, which I didn't really love even when I bought it five years ago, but I sure am happier with it now!
The shiny markings on the moth that apparently look blue in these photos are reflective fabric, which I got from my boyfriend's mom. Having some sort of reflector on you is very important ...
Also good news: The source of my boyfriend's symptoms has been diagnosed and medicated, and we're expecting a speedy recovery! We already knew it wasn't covid or influenza, and I wasn't having symptoms, and a doctor's visit clarified that it's an infection, and he is currently on antibiotics.
Modern medicine is amazing - something that would have been his death 200 years ago is only two or three days in bed today.

Not covid or anything else that shows up on the tests, but he's got a fever. And we have conversations of that pattern almost every day, answering to "so are you" with "no I'm not" and the follwing "why not?" with an usually silly reason, or something one worries might be bothering the other.
It's my boyfriend's little brother's 16th birthday today! He's getting Warhammer stuff.

This conversation did happen pretty much like this, though at the time I was looking directly at several packages of microwave soup we have on the shelf, and since I was sitting and my boyfriend was standing, he blocked my field of vision by hugging me, pressing my face against his chest. I was immediately persuaded.

This did, indeed, happen, save that I forgot to deliver their greetings. My boyfriend was audible over my friends' discord call, so my friends heard him talking to his brother here and there. It was too much of a hassle to assemble the whole squad, especially so soon after halloween and so close to New Year's, so we had our christmas party on discord and nonetheless had lots of fun!

I know I usually take my two-week nap break in the spring, but unfortunately it is not up to me nor the calendar. At some point I just run out of juice, and after drawing every comic has felt like a chore for several weeks in a row, it's time to take a break before I run completely out of juice. The body dictates where the rest stops are.

This is a semi-regular occurrence when I'm awake and he's not. If he doesn't want to be cuddled, he is able to communicate it with body language, and if he wants to cuddle, he's capable of gripping me so firmly that there's no way to wiggle free without waking him up. I could force myself free, but it's simply easier to let him sleep and stay there until he either wakes up or releases me. I love the no-thought-only-instinct mode he goes into when he sleeps.
