I honestly was not prepared for this movie WHATSOEVER, which was the best surprise! I loved it! There is so much happening in this film -- and if you don't know Tanuki Lore (as I was blissfully unaware of), then this movie may be a culture shock!

Dobu basically proves why we DON'T MESS WITH HIM, as he deals with numerous forces against him - including Odokawa, who is plotting not only his downfall, but the downfall of the entire organization threatening him, Eiji, and Shirakawa...this episode was WILD and we need to talk about it!

After coming off of "Love Exposure" the week prior, I was ready to be scared out of my wits, but this movie is more of a mind melting mystery - in the BEST way! This movie was so much fun with how unexpected it was and the way things unraveled between this seemingly tight-knit group of people was so enthralling -- I could not look away by the end of it -- well, except maybe when I was scared!

I worry for Eiji, and for Odokawa, as he's getting more involved with Dobu, trying to cover himself, and possibly facing vindication from multiple people -- meanwhile, people's lives are at risk and the roller coaster towards the third act has begun! I'm not ready!
