The Dominator Duplicator

Early Access Post!

In this one off based on the Disney series, "Wander Over Yonder," Dominator invites another evil overlord to stay with her, after his planet just so happened to be decimated around the same time. But something's not right, everyone knows Dominator isn't exactly a people-person, so what does she really have planned for this newfound "companion?" Find out soon...

Yoga Club: Casual Julia

Back to the usual, I suppose, heh. I remember doing this one when I saw this little art challenge on Instagram, it was something like, "Draw your OC in what you're wearing right now," and so I did, and I just so happened to be wearing the most ruined jeans I own. Outfit works pretty well for Julia, I think. Hope y'all like!

Sussymorb Exclusive - Unfamiliar Intimate Practice

I got this idea thinking about, "okay, Greg and Rose totally did a number of intimate things together before they had Steven, that's totally believable to me just judging by some behaviors of Rose in the flashback episodes." Also, not sure if it's noticeable, but I tried to get down a mix of Greg's young design, and the design seen in episodes like, "Lion 3: Straight to Video" or, "Three Gems and a Baby," that's why the beard is kinda small, and his hairline hasn't regressed quite as much as ...

Making Miss Jackson [Behind the Scenes]

I thought it would be neat to share some early sketches of my new avatar. After everything's said and done, it's interesting looking back on this little journey, figuring out exactly how to represent myself now that I'm wearing this important part of my identity on my sleeve. I don't know if she's too romanticized or too flattering or anything like that. At the end of the day, the most important part of this character was to represent me, how I really feel and who I really want to be. I hope ...

Those eyes were incredibly important to get right. I've heard that expression that eyes are the gateway to the soul, I incorporate that saying into my artwork in a handful of ways. There are some acceptations, but I usually use pupils as a way of conveying consciousness or identity change, specifically the color. Another crucially important factor in using eyes is the expression, you have to be incredibly certain in what you're trying to convey and how you're going to...

The expressions were so important to get down here, the post stress wooziness on my character, followed by the earnest pride on Rosabelle's face. I do worry that this page may appear slightly more generic in terms of facial expressions, hope that's not the case, heh. Oh, also interesting fact, had to make an extra tall background for panels three and four, to make it appear seamlessly like my character is looking up. Too bad I didn't save the full background, could've...

This was the page that really opened my eyes to a potential allegory hidden in this comic. I had thoughts about it before, but I think this was the page where my partner made a joke about it looking like my avatar was giving birth. That got me thinking like, yeah, a strange amount of this is reminiscent of archetypes surrounding the scenario of childbirth, or at least, a heavily romanticized version of it. The laying back and being told to steadily breathe as it happe...

I think this page is one of the pivotal moments of the comic, one that shows the tone in the best way I could. I don't know if I did the best job in execution, but I still think it's one of my favorites of the lot. Just showing how caring Rosabelle is, the gentle guidance through the transformation. I think it's a tone for TF stuff I've never really explored, and that's unfortunate, because I think it's a very beautiful one.

I should do this kind of tone more o...

This is the moment we reach the calm after the small storm. At this point in making the comic, I finally reached a point where the anxiety, the struggle to allow myself this, fully let go. I just focused on the comfort, the care, the earnestness. Just like my avatar, I needed to rest, I needed to breathe, and I needed to let the emotion of this comic flow naturally. It's probably a strangely emotional thing to say in regards to the butt expansion picture, but it's jus...

This one really reminds me of that old "Dreams Come True" comic I made for myself. Only there's a pivotal difference in this moment, my character has a friend. All the attempts I've made at realizing my own TF story never worked out, because being alone allowed my most negative tendencies to take it over. They weren't satisfying, they weren't helpful, it just didn't feel right. But with this comic, it was different, working with someone both inside and outside the com...

This one was an incredibly strange one to figure out. As a representation of myself, how in the hell do you tactfully go about the crotch change? It was difficult to figure out, until I remembered the baseline idea for the transformation as a whole. RosebudSlut and I talked about the transformation playing out almost like a massage. There would be parts that feel very strange, almost painful, but it all leads to relaxation. So I rolled with that, my character here, is...

This one I super struggled with for a hot minute. I knew what I wanted to do with the page, and I had the second and third panels figured out pretty quickly, it was just a matter of figuring out what would surround them. Initially that first panel wasn't even going to be there, but I thought it would help enunciate the change of voice better. I don't have it anymore, but the fourth panel was going to be pretty different, similar idea, but completely different angle an...

The hair was an interesting process this time around, I'm already working with long hair, so how do I change it? Well, now it's just a simple, gradual shift from one style to another. I decided to take a similar approach with the color, instead of my bubbly takeover style, I went with a simple shift in color all over. I wanted it to appear gentle, like a brush, kindly pulling out the knots, putting everything perfectly into place.

I'm also very happy with how th...

I'm feeling fun, y'all on the behind the scenes tier get two posts today! I was originally going to post some of the individual assets for this cover, but it turns out, I guess I never uploaded this one to begin with! I checked all over DA and Patreon and it was nowhere to be found. (If I'm wrong, plz let me know! If it's the case I just missed it, I'll update this post with my original plan!) So y'all get a never before seen cover, made around the time this whole Sonic Frontiers story began....

Behind the Universe: Sonic's Head [Behind the Scenes]

Here's the first post in a series of Patreon exclusive, behind the scenes content related to the Jackson-TFs Sonic Universe. Starting off with the titular character, and his most important asset throughout the series, Sonic's heads! This is a peak into my old method of working, if a character appeared enough, I would consider it necessary to backlog head assets, making it much easier to make pages with them. I've got a lot of these, spanning a ton of characters in the Sonic cast. Some that ha...

Fun fact, this page doesn't have too many interesting facts. In post, I realized I kept calling the hairpin a headband. Like wow, that's a teeny weeny headband, it's so small it's almost like it's not a headband and Jackson just forgot the word hairpin for a while there. Speaking of, it was interesting going about making the pin work on my old avatar. I wanted to make sure it worked as a small bridge between designs, setting parts of the hair up to change just right. ...

Fun fact, a handful of the expressions in this comic were heavily inspired by the artwork of Rebecca Sugar. Her expression work has this beauty to it, I'm still not sure how exactly she does it, but she conveys things like earnestness, curiosity and stress perfectly. The ones that astound me the most are the expressions that appear shocked, potentially in a negative connotation, but somehow, you can tell there is a layer of positive wonder behind the face. It's someth...

Fun facts about this page, both artistic and personal. When working on this comic, I learned a new trick for how to enunciate particular expressions by varying how I present teeth. It's fascinating how the presence or absence of individual teeth can impact an expression. The absence of it can soften an expression whilst the opposite can harden one, at least that's been my experience using it. It's an interesting trick.

Personally, I remember struggling a tad whe...

Fun fact, these two pages were actually made near the end of working on this comic. I was looking back, and I wanted to give a more proper introduction to both characters. Though, I definitely was more motivated to give Rosabelle a big, front and center intro. I was also a little unsure how to present my avatar here. I try my best to write characters accurately, and I had to take an honest look at myself to be like, "Okay, how would I realistically react to this, that...

I was thinking about it, and I may have some fun little facts for a good handful of these pages. May as well talk about 'em. Fun fact, when I was making this page, it really got me thinking about how I present my avatar. I wanted to make sure it was genuine and well made, while not being self masturbatory. I'm not on a higher level than everyone else, I'm vulnerable, a little scrappy, not perfectly put together. So I didn't want to stray away from making my avatar loo...

Before it was destroyed. The fella on the right is his henchman, Crystal Carl, he's a little more on the level compared to his boss. These fellas were fun to make, my partner made up the names jokingly and they stuck, I like 'em a lot. Hope y'all like too!

TG TF - Unique Order

Yeah, this one's unique alright. I actually made this one a good while back, I just felt a little weird about uploading it. I wondered if the premise of it was too disturbing, the premise of a mysterious guy TF'ing random passerby's at the behest of anonymous buyers. But in retrospect, it's not that serious. Frankly, I just went with that premise because I liked the unnerving vibe it brought. Also, I used it as an opportunity to practice two things; Making POV pieces ...

Little meta context here, I actually looked back to how I designed Saturn years ago and I wanted to re contextualize it. In Mahogany's case, I just went off vibes. Also, she's looked pretty similar over the years, so it makes sense for her to look similar at a younger age. Hope y'all like!
