With combined effort, we’ve managed to recreate our dragon powerhouse, Fraenir, for FurryVNE while reimagining him in the process.
There are still a few finishing touches to add, like custom expressions, but he’s finally ready to step into the spotlight. We hope you enjoy him as much as we do!

Hey there, I’m Fiasco! You may recognize me from the Discord community, where I’ve been creating video guides and answering questions for the last few months.
When the FurryVNE Team asked me to work on a series of short, fun tutorials to explain the ins and outs of Interactions, I was eager to accept because they’re such a fascinating subject. On one hand, Interactions are the most accessible and intuitive way I’ve seen to create rich, dynamic real-time animations; on the other hand, it’s possible to add as much detail and complexity to them as you can imagine.
These tutorials start out by giving you a taste of how creative you can get using only surface-level techniques. By the end, though, we’ll be discussing advanced topics that will let you push your animations to the next level and beyond.
Best of all, these tutorials will be integrated into the FurryVNE welcome and help menus in the near future, so answers will always be just a couple of clicks away!
Whether you’re a brand new user or an experienced creator looking to learn some new tricks, I think there will be a lot for you to discover in these videos. I really hope you enjoy them!

Our environment designer, Pegashis, has been working on this new map for the character creators among us, giving them the option to measure their characters directly while working on them. The measure bar features both metric units (on the left) and imperial units (on the right).
But that's not all!
The map will be accessible in both character creator and interaction mode, replacing the blank arena map and offering much more than just a measurement system.
The second half of the map includes an office and workstation, along with a cozy combination of a bedroom with a comfy sofa and a kitchen area! Without further explanation, check out the screenshots to get a better idea of what’s coming.
We hope you will enjoy it and it will help not only the character creators but will also inspire our animators to new scenes and setups.

Hey everyone, Blacky here with the latest deer templates, featuring the brand-new deer head that Dogson is currently putting the final touches on for the upcoming release! We hope you enjoy these two!
Comment from Dogson- This head has been long worked on on small hours whenever I had time as I quickly became very disappointed on our current deer head as I felt that while it captured a lot of aspects of how a real deer looks like, it doesn't lend it self well to cute characters and it's sort of been a thorn on my side since then.
I put it out for internal testing a couple of months ago and now I think it has mature after testing and input from both Blacky and Fiasco that this head will do it's job well in giving us cute cervine characters.

Hey everyone, Blacky here!
I’ve been working on the most dangerous woman in our roster, and I’m very excited to show her to you all! By utilizing our latest improvement to the garment binding system, I was able to create a very special suit for her, I guess you will enjoy her!
Odes has improved garments, making it possible to cut holes directly into your garment without needing to use workarounds like separating the garment into multiple pieces making you sacrifice performance and resources on your characters.
With the new binding tech, you can keep your garment in one piece and use shape keys without losing performance, whether the suit is closed or open.
To make it happen, create shape keys and only scale down the desired areas of your garment till they are no longer visible (you can do that quickly by pressing "S" and then "0" after selecting what you want to scale down).
Be sure to separate the UVs of those areas from the rest of the garment's UV structure by placing them elsewhere on your UV map—that’s it!
Senn-Rei will be joining in the next release, which is coming soon, so feel free to give her a try!

I have yet to decide how well toned her muscles shall be, as I think I don't want them to be smack bam in your face with clear carved out muscle groups as if so it might just well be a female muscular 2 instead. I still want to make it so you can clearly see that there's power under those limbs and glutes.

The neck area of BBM2 was bugging me for a long time and after a couple of tries I think it's finaly nailed as the old version with a underdeveloped neck and shoulder area made them look sort of like a pinhead. I think the final design should be nailed now.
Also I think we've found the perfect body for the Male Bear Template.

So the last release introduced cloud for interactions. This has been a long time in the making. I'm generally happy with the rollout - browsing, loading and uploading interactions has never been this easy and works just the way we want it to! We've also made many improvements and stability enhancements.
But, that being said, we have still identified areas in need of improvement:
1. Load times
This is taking far too long atm, really breaking the mood. I want to see if there's anything we can do to reduce the load times, leaving no rock unturned.
2. Memory Leak Fixes
Another significant issue that has been observed is the occurrence of memory leaks. These leaks cause the application to eventually crash after loading multiple interactions consecutively. This issue will be addressed to ensure the application remains stable, even after extensive use.
3. User Interface Improvements
Several adjustments to the user interface are planned to create a more streamlined and user-friendly experience:
Nodes Display: Nodes should not display by default, as this can clutter the workspace and overwhelm users who do not need them immediately.
Right-Side Menu: The right-side menu should also be hidden by default, allowing users who just want to play the interaction do so without unnecessary distractions.
Auto-Play Interactions: Interactions should automatically begin playing by default to reduce unnecessary steps.
4. Scene wonkyness
There's some wonkyness when switching scenes or steps. We wanna see if there's any way we can make that work better.
5. Reliable Property Editing
There's another issue I haven't personally encountered but that I'm aware of: when you edit a property, it might not always apply as expected because a timeline later in the stack of timelines could be overriding it, giving the impression that the slider isn't even working. Imagine for example the user configuring inflation size, but the change seemingly doesn't take. Very confusing and annoying!
To resolve this, I'm considering implementing a hidden, global, "overriding" timeline that would always be applied last, ensuring that any properties modified by the user retain their assigned values.
Note! This would be for the "consuming" animation playback mode. I.e. not for editing interactions - only for making adjustments on top of a playing interaction from cloud.
6. Introduction of a "Quick" Menu
Later down the line, I want to further improve usability by introducing a "quick" menu. So essentially right clicking an item directly in the scene (no nodes or outliner) will allow users to quickly adjust properties directly. For example:
Visibility Toggle: Users could right-click a garment to quickly toggle its visibility.
Breast Size Adjustment: Right-clicking a character could bring up a floating properties window, allowing users to adjust the breast size directly without navigating through multiple menus.
Unfortunately, reading the screen the way I want to in order to get pixel perfect clicks and fetching the related object would require quite a lot of changes that aren't really feasible until we migrate to URP. Or rather, there's no point in doing it for the current system if we're gonna have to replace it down the line anyway. So I hope we can introduce it sometime around the planned URP migration.
Conclusion
We have identified several key things we want to improve with the product. As always, we are committed to continuously improving the product and will keep working hard to enhance the user experience and address any issues that arise.

Hi all!
Wanted to share this because this was a pretty serious bug.
So apparently soft bodies have been completely effed for a while in regards to interactions with hands, and I only noticed this the other day. This is fixed for the next release (which will also introduce cloud for interactions). As you can see from the pictures (comparing new to old), there's a vast difference how soft bodies behave!

Hi all!
Small update.
Cloud for interactions is progressing. I'm essentially 99% done with everything that needs to be implemented. Still need to do tons of testing though. But as far as features are concerned, everything is more or less implemented.
I've also improved character exports for the next build. Textures now use BC7 compression instead of DXT5, which provides significantly better quality at no cost of memory.

Still working on the cloud component for interactions. The cloud component is divided into 34 tasks. We're now done with 29 of them (85%).
