Underwear Calendar February 2️⃣ - Election!
Time for round two of the underwear special!
It's not the most popular month for birthdays, but still a good selection, so vote ahead✨

Got the cool opportunity to draw Izuku during some practice of Muay-Thai!
Since it is a pretty specific martial arts technique, I spent some time beforehand researching typical movements to find something that's both accurate to the arts and also interesting to show in a drawing.
On a side-note: Whenever I'm getting this close I like to add a bit of depth by blurring the parts out of focus so I can define a foreground, middleground and background without there being many elements prese...
Here's the first poster boy you selected to represent January - Asahi!
Who will join him next month? Look out for the next poll to determine who will be the lucky one🩲
Finished this commission a while back which was a fun exercise in drawing a guitar again, which I had only done about once or twice before!
It took a bit to figure out the coloring but we settled on this lovely combination of a dark blue jacket and black hoodie that nicely contrast the warm yellow wood of the guitar.
It's time! New Year new project🌟
As decided by the last running poll the chosen starter project for this year is the Casual Extra in form of an underwear calendar special!🩲
Every month you're going to get the chance to choose who's going to be the poster boy representing his month of the year.
So, without further ado, time to choose the first starter for this years calendar project - obviously we're starting with the January birthday boys!
Vote away!🥇

Another addition to the "Positive Tension" collection, this time featuring the two boys very model-esque and full of melancholy.
I already very much enjoy this sketch the way it is, so I'm not sure if I'm going to make a fully colored version. Let me know what you think!
If you haven't read Jennas story yet, go check it out🧡

Remember this commission? I finally managed to finish it!
As a special treat I documented the rendering process of the background and characters. It was a particular tricky angle and coloring this time, so I had to do some adjustments up to the end.
The urban setting is still something I'm working on, but I'm quite happy with how this one turned out. Condensing it down to 60 seconds really doesn't do the hours justice I spent on it tho, haha! But every hour spent was worth it 😊
When it comes to coloring there's a lot of different approaches and every artist follows their own unique routine.
It's often something that comes with time and practice, a form of muscle memory that helps following steps that create satisfying results. I personally - as much as it might surprise with how I mostly like details - usually aren't too keen on hair. It needs a good day and motivation for me to feel up to the challenge and there were times where I took the simple route of keepi...
I have this very simple animation of me sketching a low ponytail on Natsu in one of my latest commissions. It's very basic but it gives some insight how I map out the different areas of this particular hairstyle.
Every figure has a bald head underneath haha! By having something underneath to place the lines ontop helps following the proper shape. Feel free to add more lines to help navigade hair around (like lines of a basketball).
She is wearing a cap in this case, so I am getting awa...
I got the wonderful opportunity to draw a fictional Time magazine cover for "person of the year" featuring Izuku as number one hero. Doing portraits against a strong colored background is really something I'm growing fond of!
And I'm also very glad to add to my Izuku drawings💚
New year but no new me because I'm simply completing my collection of gangster variations of my favorite characters it seems!
This time it's Tobios turn and of course he's taken from yet another very much recommendable story by Jenna known as snikkeler_doodle on A03. It's called "Positive Tension" and while I have yet to finish it completely, the image of gangster Tobio with a sniper rifle just didn't leave my mind!
(Also again with the tattoos. They're a visual blessing but a techn...
Hey there everyone,
it's almost crazy to think this year is finally over!
For me personally this year was a year of change: I finished my academics, moved places and started my journey into figuring out how to make a creative freelance life work part-time and full time, including starting this page.
There's still a lot of uncertainties attached to it, not everything being figured out, but despite those little fears and worries, I really feel like it's been the start to...
Rute (@RG_Aranwen on twitter) and I teamed up for a little fun collab for Tobios birthday tomorrow. Since it's been pretty spontaneous and I literally only just finished this, enjoy this little early access a day early🤭
It's based on third year Kagehina love-confession on Tobios birthday, so make sure to check out the accompanying thread fic Rute will upload tomorrow as well!✨
Happy Birthday little Blueberry💙
So Ems gangster Hinata is still very much alive and thriving in my brain and besides discussing a lot of headcanons with her whenever they strike, I also very much indulge myself in drawing him in my off-time between commissions atm. Since he is Yakuza, his tattoos are not visible underneath his daily atire, but his attitude is still very much there😏
I couldn't decide if I like a more cinematic closeup of his face more or the more illustration style portrait I initially started, so ...
Today I wanted to show something a little different out of my portfolio.
These pencil drawings with digital coloration are part of a series where I illustrated various poems of an author friend of mine. The poems focus on everyday observations and thoughts.
This series really showcases two aspects within my art I find myself drawn to quite often: details/materials and lighting to set a mood.
In this case it's also playing with negative space, the white areas left untouched and is t...
Remember how I said I wanted to do the tattoo as a template? So I won't have to do it again if I decide to do more art with him and his tattoo? Yeah, jokes on me because this doesn't work when you decide to do parts you didn't need for the initial artwork🤡
Regardless of my shortcomings, I enjoy the challenge and playing around with the tattoo (and Hinata)in various stages of being!
Hey there,
it's crazy to think we really reached the end of November already, which means I've been doing this patreon thing for over a month and most of you are still sticking around - thank you so so much!😭✨
You really have no idea what that means to me; I'm having fun, you guys seem to have fun too and really that's all I can ask for!
As this months wallpapers I decided to feature my surfer AU. Especially now that the days are short, it's cold outside and certainly *not*...
Another day, another AU I find myself drawn to that features another addition to the endless Hinata collection. This time around he's the son of the boss of a local gang known as the Red Suns, based on Ems story "from the ashes": https://archiveofourown.org/works/41072433/chapters/102943968
Set during the 90s and as part of Yakuza traditions, Hinata is also very much covered in an irezumi ...
The second addition to my four-parter miniseries around the day Hinata took Tobio out to town. Funnily enough I finished this before the first now because the backdrop presented itself as the easier one to approach.
And I really really wanted to draw that yellow scooter again🔆
Let's see when I get around to the other three.
I got very inspired this morning reading a Royalty AU where Hinata is being a (well deserved) show-off with his archery skills, a concept I really couldn't pass up.
Love to play around with focus when there's also foreshortening happening in an image, makes it feel so much like filmstills!
This is a WIP that's part of the "Hinata Special" Minisieries, a total of four images that I have planned around the day Hinata takes Tobio out to Port Dickson in the first Act of "The Job".
Since Essie chose real locations it's a fun challenge for me to stay true to the story and scout images as reference that show the real locations present in the story, like I did in the past for the Restaurant of the Grand Hyatt. Since there's no clear route for how Hinata drove the two of...
I don't even know what to say except I needed something silly and fun inbetween
₍ᐢ. ̫ .ᐢ₎
Just Izuku and Shoto giving the silent treatment.
I started this thinking I wanted to rough them up with some brawl style bruises (hence the serious faces) but I also like them just like they are - so have both!
Yoga is a great way to practice balance for both body and mind - that's also true for our crows, that oh so lovingly demonstrate some variations of one of the more classic poses in its different levels of intensity and challenge.
Or how I wanted to balance my work with some simpler pose studies inbetween.
But also do your Yoga guys, it's really worth it (and you don't have to go overkill like *some* and make it a competition because that's really not what it is about).
Now excuse...
First drawing of another four-part series that I'd like to finish eventually featuring my beloved obsession for "The Job". Those who've read the story might remember the fourth day where Hinata took Tobio out for a fun sightseeing day and it makes for a good practice of light and backgrounds, which I'm certainly going to go into more detail for in the future.
I've actually started this drawing quite a while back before my Thesis Project got the better of me back in April and haven't h...
It's always fun when commissioners come with somewhat unusual requests considering my portfolio, so consider me excited when I got this lovely request for portraits of the two fluffiest balls of cats!
Animals are often only featured in small in some of my artworks, so to have two be front and center is a fun exercise in how I approach animal portraits where the characteristics are supposed to still be present while being done in a stylistic digital brush stroke.
Also bonus: when do...
Finished this lovely commission for Saundra for one of her Kagehina Stories. This was a very wholesome piece to work on and finally something with the men on the court again! for someone who loves volleyball and Haikyuu dearly you would think I would draw them more often playing their sport or at least in context of playing their sport, haha!

Hey there,
it's incredible that it's only been a week with my patreon set up and all of you being here already, so hello again! I'm so excited to have you all here!🤗
It's incredible how fast some of you decided to step up in this level of supporting me with what I do and it's a beautiful experience to have this opportunity to engage on a different level: this feels like a little tucked away corner, where it's somehow not only okay to show the less polished parts but welcomed an...
Here's another WIP of this commission with the current progress of the weekend. As you can see I focussed on the background first, which is mostly rendered besides details and cleanup by this point. Next I'll add to the characters, so that all elements of the drawing are close to being done before I give it a final render that will blend the elements and add the still missing parts.

Here's another commission WIP of a current drawing, this time something with more background - looking forward to some nice details!
Whenever there's a lot of background involved I like to map out not only the composition but also the lighting situation as well, to see if it works out as intended and what mood it's setting.
