Morrrrrrrning, all.

Thought I’d just give you a quick update on the next Digi video, which Patrons should get tomorrow.

 The main edit is done – that’s the part where I shape the narrative, choose the structure etc. 

We have to film a tiny bit extra this evening, because we were so tired by the end of the shoot that neither Sanja nor I knew what was going on enough to record any sort of conclusion. We like our early nights, and didn’t finish filming until ...

NIGHT AT THE HAUNTED MUSEUM - TRAILER

I just watched the last half hour of the football, to see what the fuss was about. That was a waste of time.

Anyway.

We had a LOT of fun on Saturday, and it was just what we needed. I did manage to hurt my neck and sprain my ankle – don’t worry, both incidents are caught on camera – the latter of which got worse over the night, as I spent eight hours on it walking up and down stairs. It’s nice and swollen today. Suffering for me art, as always.

I’m clearly not alone in being horrified by the triple murder in Bushey this week, of mother Carol Hunt, and her daughters Hannah and Louise.

By all accounts, they were tied, gagged, and then shot with a crossbow by the ex-boyfriend of Louise.

It’s horrific, sickening, and almost impossible to conceive of how scared they must’ve been, and how this will impact the family members left behind.

One of those days I know I’ll remember as a low point. This is going to be a long, self-indulgent, primal scream of a post. I probably shouldn’t share any of this. It’s all very personal; it’s none of your business. But I process by writing, and writing stuff down changes the energy of things.

So! We’re going to be filming overnight in Peterborough this weekend, with Gannon, Ashens, and others. We’ll be recording some bits and pieces around the city before decamping to Peterborough’s supposedly haunted museum for the night.

As of writing this, we're 20 YouTube subscribers away from 20,000. It was always a number that seemed huge and unobtainable - even if it's still tiny by the standards of many of our peers. Nevertheless, it's a big deal to us.

Without us doing ANYTHING on there these past six months, due to Digi Level 2 reasons, the main Digi channel has finally hit 17k, putting on over 400 subscribers in the past 28 DAYS, and our Milton Keynes video suddenly soaring to over 22,000 views (and climbing).

Other videos doing well by our previous standards include the Sellafield one and Britain’s Area 51.<...

Can’t remember if I told you, but we’ve had Sanja’s family staying since last Tuesday. It was a bit last-minute.

My mum got taken to the hospital AGAIN on Sunday morning, after only being back at her nursing home since Tuesday. They didn’t keep her in thankfully, but it has been a kind of chaotic week or two months or years or so.
