Yesterday morning I woke up with debilitating pain in my left arm, hand and shoulder. I tried to treat it to no avail, so I called Teledoc for some stronger meds. They said something along the lines of "Um that could be a heart attack, son", so off we went to find an Urgentcare that was open Thanksgiving (news flash: none are).

We ended up in the emergency room, where I expected to wait for 7-10 hours of misery before anyone would even see me. But this was the emergency room affiliat...

Happy Little Snow Friends

So at work we're supporting like five different charities this holiday season, none of which I can really financially afford. One that we're doing is a sort of "Christmas list adoption" thing, where an individual "adopts" a needy kid and buys them a present from their wish list. I think this is lovely and very kind, but "adoption" is $50 a kid and that's a grocery bill, so I said I would make a little gift tag that my coworkers can print off and put on the gifts that THEY buy. Nov Special: Thanksgiving With Family

When teen Itzel's parents rejected her, she was accepted by her best friend Riley's grandparents, Wedge and Carmen Black. Gramps and Abuelita wanted Itzel to feel special for her first Thanksgiving in their care, so they produced her favorite homemade dishes: /turkey/ as per tradition, but also Abuelita's famous tamales, and a big stack of Pillsfurry Crescents (which Riley may or may not share). Itzel will, to this day, describe the festivities as the best Thanksgiving ever.

Fawks and Forg do the "why dis BLANK look so mad" meme instead of the laundry (which is PILING UP, ladies). New Schedule

Hi friends. I have some cool stuff to finish and post for you, but my wife just got a new job (that's good!) and my schedule has been completely upended (that's...challenging!). I had been doing well for the first few days but I've now hit a mental wall.
