A.J.'s Spec Script for HIMYM

Hey patrons!

Fancy Movie Time #2: The Manchurian Candidate (1962)

On this month's Fancy Movie Time with Brian and A.J., we play a high-stakes game of solitaire looking for that dastardly Red Queen as we make our way through the labyrinthine and meandering plot of John Frankenheimer's The Manchurian Candidate (1962)! Is Angela Lansbury's chilling portrayal of Eleanor Iselin enough to make this movie a fancy feast? Or do its dated politics and terrible Frank Sinatra fight scene make it a failure to fancy? Either way, we think you'll agree th...

57 - The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe

Stanley read the episode notes for the podcast called “The Worst of All Possible Worlds #57: The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.” He marveled at their ability to convey both the tone of the episode and the appropriate words necessary to take advantage of the SEO. Words like “Whizbang!“, “Gadzooks!“, and “The Truth About Vaccines!” None of these things were in the episode proper, of course, but Stanley could feel their power extending out to the furthest reaches of the world wid...

Heads up re: episode 55

Hey! we had to go in and fix a couple editing mistakes in the episode and reupload it. if you were in the middle of it and streaming on the app or website you'll probably run into an error for a little bit. I think if you close out the app entirely and reopen it, or just refresh the page on browser, the problem should resolve itself, though it'll likely start back at the beginning

An update about billing

Hi everyone!

For a long time, Patreon processed all recurring payments on the first day of every month. This could make the first month of membership confusing, especially if you subscribed toward the end of a month, got charged for the subscription, and then got charged again for renewal just a week or two later on the first day of the subsequent month.

Patreon has finally updated how they process recurring payments, allowing us to move to subscription-based billing. View Post
