I'm back in Nashville from a week of shooting in Saint Louis! Had such a wonderful time shooting the first two music videos off Bad Ideas with Isaac White and his team. I was so nervous about my ability to perform, and my faith that it would all come together on such a tiny budget, but truly, I could not be more happy with the footage from both these videos. Just got back from our all night MV shoot for Crush! I am so tired I want to die lol we shot from 10pm-6am. Circa 2013 when I first started writing songs I would upload them unlisted to Youtube and only share them on tumblr! Here was one of the very first songs I wrote, with the first draft of lyrics (before the record version)! I'm in LA this week (and five more days) trying to convince industry people they should invest (energy, money, time) in some capacity in the record. The amount I've learned in the last month about what it takes to gain traction in music has been INSANE. I think it's cause I come from an early Youtube background where, with enough energy, it really felt like you could gain a little momentum, just on the merit of something!

unbelievable. I can't believe this was the last day working on the new record. In June of last year I came in to start the process, at the time Seth and I had agreed to about two months. Right now we're in the process of recording final vocals for most of the project! A typical vocal day is pretty relaxed, it'll be about one half talking/eating/hanging out, one half singing. The way my producer, Seth, and I do vocals is:
