Among the smallest, dumbest, weakest demons on record. They are about four feet of flab, muscle, and claws destined to be pushed around and used as minions until they die or evolve into a stronger demon. They are born of the souls of evil mortals too lazy or weak to actually do any meaningful damage in life.
Hundreds can be born from a single soul, and the only thing stopping them from overwhelming the cosmos is demons utter inability to cooperate in good faith.

Curtis barely even noticed, but he killed a sentient creature. That ghoul went down to a Ray of Frost from Emrys. He will be justifiably surprised to find out that counted. So, what did he get?
Conjured Puppet: Grants the ability to summon a puppet minion. The puppet will take his full focus to control, but it will scale in power along with him. Summoning it is free, but it has a persistent health bar across multiple summons. If killed, it will recover after a long rest.

I mean obviously we are going to ally with her to finish our missions on the island, and obviously autopilot will gaslight her as much as necessary, but what else are we doing with her?
Add her to the party, at least temporarily, swapping out Rosie. This will make her far more likely to go along with Emrys’s suggestions and any plans to keep her around will have a higher chance of success.

We have four people missing, and most likely about to get ritually sacrificed to some kind of giant monster if Rowe is to be believed. We’ve got a whole island to search, but it’s probably small enough to walk across in a day. What’s the plan?
Creep along the coastline and try to find the grindylows that way. This would probably require swimming or somehow acquiring a boat, given the steep cliffs.
Climb into the mountains with a spyglass to try to get a better...

Who knows how long the gym bro will be in the party, but we now have a bulky brawler for the front lines. Don’t tease him about the low wisdom; there’s a reason he’s not a cleric.

Both as a devout pharasmite and as a spy, Cog favors daggers as his weapons of choice. So, how does he make a typically dexterity based weapon as a strength based guy?
Fate sealer- Focus on support, setting up ally attacks
Counterplay- wait and strike when the enemy is vulnerable, stabbing them when they let their guard down to attack.
Quantity- dual wielding daggers is a perfectly respectable way to rack up damage; each hit doesn’t need to hurt all th...

Our little goblin girl has a natural talent for things that go boom, and adores tinkering. She is also quite fond of ships, though that won’t necessarily manifest in talents unless she gets upgraded to a full PC class.

Our boy Emrys is getting laid, and that means another sexual perk. So, here are his options this time:
Second level spell known: Shamefully Overdressed (sexual variant)- Touch spell: Target feels an overpowering urge to strip, using one move action per round to theatrically remove a random article of clothing and feeling a strong aversion to putting them back on. They may use their other actions as they wish. Will Negates. Note that as a second level spell, this perk would be inac...

Polls say that the goblin girl is getting into the party.
So, what do we know about Rowe? She has a gun. So, what does this gun toting goblin do when her mind and body are afire with isekai cheat power?
Sniper: focus on big single shots that do as much damage as possible with a big two handed gun. She won’t be very mobile, but will be able to punch holes in people from a moderately long range.
Spray and Pray: instead of one brutal sh...

How do we prep for mutiny?
According to Besmara’s code, you don’t pull this shit while you’re at sea. Wait until we are in port (or Plugg gives us clear just cause) to set anything into motion.
The code is really more a set of guidelines. Kill Plugg while at sea and deal with any fallout. This will likely piss off Sandara, but she might get over it.
Why so confrontational? Plugg has no way of forcing us to stay and we will be going to two separate port...

I’ve been writing this long enough that I feel like I should give credit where it’s due.
The adventure path I am adapting starts with this book: https://paizo.com/products/btpy8rcc
Feel free to read ahead. I’m changing enough that you’re unlikely to be particularly spoiled.
Most of the rules for Pathfinder 1st edition, which I’m using as my basis, are available free online: 2024-02-15 22:22:59 +0000 UTC

What’ll it be?
Leadership Sphere (Followers): Gain 5 bonus skill points which can only be spent on the Diplomacy skill. Gain 5 “follower” party slots per level. Followers must be half your level or less, and do not gain character sheets. A follower gains a minor amount of plot armor, and groups of 5 or more fol...

No one knows why all known proteans, the outsiders of raw chaos, have a cohesive snakelike thematic to their forms. Wouldn’t it make more sense if they were formless, or at least wildly inconsistent across species?
The Proteans, for their part, have stated “Well obviously we all look like snakes,” and refused all further questioning on the subject on the grounds that it is “dumb and boring.”

We don’t have it yet (let’s see what the next few chapters bring…) but that mirror is a pretty powerful and very importantly consumable item. He will only be able to use it once without cheesy tactics.
The clone it makes (assuming it survives past 24 hours) is a real person capable of growing and making decisions independently, but will usually be extremely easy for Emrys to recruit if he feels so inclined. So. How do we use it?
