Hey everyone!
I finished the first pass of a custom website/index to make everything more accessible.
After 2.5 years there are a lot of tutorials and some of them were quite hidden from past years. I hope that with this new way of indexing you will be able to find much easier what you are looking for.
Please let me know if it is working well for you, as I chose autoplay function and it might be a little heavy to load for old computers. But I wanted to be fancy as usual l...

This came out of nowhere as a lot of people are spamming these days (amongst them myself) on social media about AI and auto generated images. I am thinking to gather some more concrete info and either do a livestream or a pre recorded tutorial about this subject.
How can we access it? How to work with it? Whats next?
Stay tuned over the next few days!
In the meantime feel free to ask anything below!
Cheers!

Concluding the scene setup with cloth art direction of course and some fundamentals about attributes. Again if you wanna remember how attributes work in more depth you can check my youtube series here: https://www.youtube.com/motionpunk
Please let me know if you found this first complete Houdini series useful, if I explain things simple or if you want me to take the foot of the gas :)
Much love!

In this part we are gonna briefly look at MOPs.
MOPs should be the bread and butter of every Houdini that comes from Cinema4D, as it emulates the cloner behaviour among other stuff. It cuts many corners but so do we!
We need to get this project done and not understand how cloner is written in its core. We are finishers haha! Houdini aint the friendliest software when it comes to mograph things, but MOPs is here to bridge this gap.
You can find MOPs here for free:

In part 1 we explored some basic vellum properties and in this one I am gonna start breaking down all the aspects of the project.
Starting with, importing your own geometry and making it behave as you want. Houdini interprets geo a bit different than other software so some gotchas we need to be aware of.
Let me know if any questions,
Cheers!

Happy summer!
Continuing from where I left off with cloth explorations but this time in Houdini.
We already saw a first introduction to vellum. This 4 part series will explore how I setup everything from scratch, how I art directed this small piece and you will have a one on one comparison with s26 cloth.
Are you ready? It's gonna be easier than you think!
Cheers!

More cloth stuff, case studies and continuing with the simulation settings revision. Pleasantly surprised with the potential so far.
Let me know what your experience is!
ps. in the cloner example forgot to add cloth tag, but take my word for it, wouldnt make any difference :) sorry I recorded so many stuff for this month and got burned out a bit!

After fiddling for months on and off I finally made the decision to push Patreon exclusive content with Houdini along with my typical Cinema4D explorations.
Vellum is a solver in Houdini that unifies cloth/splines/grains/liquid dynamics. Its extremely powerful and it's what I 've been using the last 6 months for any of these types of simulations. It is what X-particles tries to be but on steroids. Extremely stable, very scalable.
A series dedicated to Cinema4D users is now...

Hey again,
Well this is "advanced" indeed hehe. As advanced as c4d can be anyways :) Happy to answer any of your questions as usual.
Apologies as it is very lengthy around 45 minutes. I know (as myself also hates lengthy tutorials) but the info is a lot.
Cheers!

Happy April!
Well "advanced" shouldn't be the title of our first tut in this series since I am doing a very basic walkthrough in soft body dynamics. So if you are new in c4d this is definitely the place to start. For more experienced users, I 'd recommend to start watching from part 2 onwards. Unless you like watching me, I know a lot of people do cause I am awesome haha :)
Jokes aside, I had a lot of people telling me that they need to explain everything from scratch so I...

In this last part I am gonna explain how I setup the explosion. Cheating here and there whenever possible to have a sim-less but seamless setup haha.
Not very funny huh?

Heya happy month!
This might be the last of H introduction tutorials as I think I covered the most basic things to get you started. Ofc H is a beast of a program and we will explore many things down the line, but I feel that this is a good place to get started.
From there on I am thinking to start exploring cloth/hair/grains with vellum solver and these type of tutorials will be only accessible to patrons.
Of course Cinema4D stuff will run in parallel, no changes there as C4...

Finally found some time to throw a Houdini tutorial as well in the mix.
A small roadmap here:
When I am done with free H stuff regarding fundamentals, I am gonna start doing Patreon exclusive content with Houdini as well. I will share with you what I ve learned so far with vellum and how we bridge the 2 software together (H+c4d).
Cinema4D content will continue as usual, but i will add Houdini in the mix. This process is a bit slow and this is because I don't do Houdini very oft...

Hey friends!
This month I will break down the Windows11 commercial I had the pleasure to contribute in 2021. I will explain pipeline/day to day stuff that I am using for better organisation in my projects (and for peace of mind when it comes to changes lol).
Some topics I will discuss include tokens/folder structure and general project asset management. If you have more questions regarding all that, let me know in the comments below as I wont go into crazy depths about em in the vid...

Happy new year and great week everyone!
I had many questions from a lot of you about this artwork I created during xmas holidays, so I decided to throw a quick-ish breakdown both for particles and lookdev. In this first part we gonna look the overall setup and in part b we gonna see how this is setup inside octane.
Cheers!

I discovered a quick and dirty trick and wanted to share along with some shading tips for merry xmas! This is the last tutorial before heading for some time off.
I wish you and your families happy holidays, happy new year with health, creativity, love and houdini :) Maybe houdini is an overreach for all family members but oh well haha.
What are your resolutions for 2022? Please comment below!
