Chapter 15 is currently sitting around 7200 words - I usually aim for nine or ten thousand words a chapter. Editing is ongoing as I progress, but I'll do a thorough review at the end. The long and short of it is that it'll be another couple of weeks before the chapter is available to all.

You might have noticed some other posts that are not visible to everyone. I've set up a higher-tier subscription that gives access to my ongoing drafts as and when I update them. I'm really pleased to have completed the chapter, given the time it's taken. Hopefully, it was worth the wait.

Hopefully, I'll have a draft of the whole chapter to post here later this week, and then I'll get Chapter 13 posted on LitE.

Some of this work has been subject to editing and refinement since the last draft, and I've no easy way to show changes, so apologies if most of what you read is more or less the same as the last draft. But I'd encourage reading from the start, as some things have changed.

Progress on Chapter 14 is slow, but is being made. Your comments on the draft helped, as has getting over one of the 'humps' I had stalled on.
I've got a weeks break starting soon, which will remove me from the computer and take me to southern Scotland until the end of the month. I doubt I'll get much done while I'm away - but I do very much recognise this next chapter is delayed and thank you all for your patience.

It's scary just how reliant I've become on my phone for everything.

One issue with the stable of QT authors increasing and people having various stories in the works is that the guys who check everything fits the tone and lore are a bit stretched.

As a result, Chapter 11 will be getting published on LitE shortly.

For some reason, Chapter 10 has now taken more than a week for LitE to post. For those not familiar with the process, once something has been submitted it's checked over by them before they publish. Normally it might take 3 or 4 days. I've no idea why there's such a delay this time, but this morning I've resubmitted it in the hope it gets dealt with.
Work continues on Chapter 12.

No edits were required or suggested; it's just that everyone's busy with their own lives and writing. I've taken this chapter from drafts and added it to the main chapter list for those of you who prefer to read officially approved QT stories! This chapter has flowed much more easily onto the page than the last one - and yes, it does start to move the story forward!

Unfortunately, I do not have much to report - progress is ongoing with Chapter 11. I have a reasonably clear idea of where I'm going with this one, which should make it easier to progress than Ch. 10 was.
I did note, with some pride, that Chapter 9 topped the LitE Sci-Fi "All Time" favourites for about a week. It has now fallen to 10th place. But as a new writer, it was great to see it doing so well, especially since some talented authors are posting in that category, including other ...
Chapter 9 is now live on Literotica - I appreciate that many of you will have read the chapter here, but if you get a chance, please provide a rating on LitE.
Also, Chapter 10 has been authorised in record time. I've barely even started on 11. I intend to keep Ch.10 available only here until I'm ready to post 11.
As of tonight, Chapter 10 has been submitted to the QT loremasters for checking.
In the meantime, I've posted the draft here (it's available for paid members).
I've also posted Chapter 9 on LitE, and it should appear there in a few days.
