A 'bonus' discussion of recent business on Twitter and with Elon Musk.

We thought this would be good to do so we don't have to mention it again and we can avoid a lengthy intro on the Elon episode.

Hopefully of some relevance to people who do not use Twitter but no promises. 

This is the unedited audio version, hopefully with better levels than last time! Update: Levels not fixed! Will work with Matt on this, we tried to fix this time.

Manvir is a great researcher who produces really fascinating papers and it is thus impossible for Chris not to geek out. Might be a bit more academic than usual as a result but hopefully you enjoy.

General Update

Hi everyone,

Wanted to give you all a general update on release schedule and upcoming episode plans.

Also, just a personal note that following the familial covid outbreak, I (Chris) am dealing with some other health issues with family members and it's likely to make my time a bit more constrained. We will still be on the fortnightly releases but bonus stuff might be on a weird boom and bust cycle for a while. In any case, appreciate your patience and support.

Sorry for the delay. I (Chris) am still recovering post-covid and so am a bit more low energy than usual. Also discovered wrong mic settings were used afterward so sorry for that too: the levels are a mess! Blame Matt, we found out his mic volume level had switched (somehow) to 13%! Will try to level them out for the audio version.

Nonetheless, we feed another three luminaries to the Gurometer.

Quick Update

Hey everyone,

Been a while and we haven't posted much this month so thought I'd give a quick update.

First, me (Chris) and my family finally took the hit from covid and are currently still self-isolating/recovering. Nothing too bad *head nod to vaccines* but definitely taken a hit in productivity due to fatigue, voice being fried, and brain fog. So we are a bit behind and may not catch up till next month (as the end of the month is also the start of teaching!).
