I loved this one!  From the melancholy tone, the gorgeous visuals, and some of my favorite animated directing I can think of!  I liked Nightmare Before Christmas, but this is easily a significant step up for Henry Selick in my opinion.  Also... why the eyes??

Not for kids, but I loved this one... the visual style, the creativity, and the mature story/ themes were such a refreshing change of pace for animations.  (sorry this one is late, I had to change my schedule around do to copyright/ videos getting blocked)

I've been watching a few Tom Hanks movies lately, and this might be my favorite.  His performance is incredible here, and overall the maturity and commentary about life and love in this film was handled expertly.  Highly recommend!

This movie was an absolute blast!  Great comedy, great parody/ love letter to Westerns, and some seriously impressive voicework (Billy Nighy has now joined Jude Law in contention for the best villain voice ever!).  I've heard people say this one is overrated and I've heard people say it's underrated... I'm solidly in group 2.

Even if you're not a fan of Batman or animations in general, I'd recommend giving this one a chance.  The pacing, characters, and voice work is all top-tier, and it all comes together for a cohesive and compelling narrative over two parts... the themes of cynicism, violence, ageing, and legacy are blended throughout.

So... here it is, the infamous "Episode 1" haha.  Hope it's amusing and doesn't ruin the whole reaction.  And... I have some pretty strong thoughts about this one, so feel free to share your own... But to all my patrons, I'll just say this: if any of you ever have to send your lover to hell and then decide you want to disappear for a few months, I'm not gonna give you a hard time :)
