Sorry, I messed up my audio levels for the whole first half of this reaction (apologies especially to headphone users), but this version is now fixed. Also, in the future if anyone notices something off with the reaction, always feel free to let me know so I can fix it for y'all!

LOTS to love in this take on the Batman. The soundtrack, cinematography, and performances alone make this standout in the superhero genre. And the detective/ crime thriller take on the character is so refreshing and engaging. Yes, the movie is long, but we were never bored, and I highly recommend this movie, not only for the beauty and craftsmanship, but also for the power of the story itself. Definitely interested in seeing more of this Gotham City.

This movie is a WIN. Fun twist on the villain's predicament, like an alternate version of Despicable Me. There's also a few commentaries that I thought were both relevant and clever. Great stuff!

So, apparently there was a bit of controversy surrounding this one?? Anyways, I LOVED the premise of this movie but the execution... I also have lots of thoughts/ questions, so I'd love to hear different takes and interpretations of the messages and themes throughout. Also, was this released theatrically? Am I completely lost, or was this just on Disney Plus?

This movie is so gentle, so sweet, so tragic, and so personal... honestly, like Edward himself. Johnny Depp conveys so much saying so little, and the supporting cast kills it as well. I wish we could see more original fairytales just like this.

What an amazing, unexpected, heart-breaking, and even funny (Joyce and Spike?? C'mon, we need more) cliffhanger season finale. So much to love in this one, and the wrap-up (?) for the Buffy and Angel arc did NOT go the way I thought it would and as good as the season 1 finale is, I think this one takes the top spot for me...let me know what y'all thought!

Such a great character study and twist on the "superhero" genre. Joaquin Phoenix delivers a powerhouse performance, and I think Todd Phillips did an excellent job as well. Many of the scenes are setup and executed perfectly, and I'm also a fan of the colors throughout. The soundtrack is moody, intense, and mixed up with some oldies for a fitting tone that is both darkly comedic and unapologetically tragic. Highly recommend!

For fans of Batman, I highly recommend. The moral dilemma presented is one of my favorites, and I'd love to hear people's opinion/ takeaway. Also was very impressed with Joker in this one

So I have some classic movies coming soon (Green Mile, Schindler's List, Jurassic Park), but would y'all like to see more of Tim Burton? I can't do them all, so let me know which one (if any) sounds best!

While I think the first one is more streamlined and mysterious, the sequel explores a lot more of Jigsaw's backstory and mindset in an interesting (and disturbing) way... Also, is anyone else think that Jigsaw secretly is a dark, dark comedian? I mean, he loves his puns haha

This is one of those movies that for some reason was completely off my radar.... I'd never seen a trailer, and knew virtually nothing about it. And... I was pleasantly surprised. The colors in this movie are gorgeous, and it's both funny, dark, touching, and one-of-a-kind. And the MUSIC... I've been playing it in the background since I saw it. This might be my favorite Tim Burton movie so far.

So, I'm planning on getting back into more reading just so there's a balance in my life and my brain doesn't melt from too much screen time (who are we kidding, it's far too late... ). If I did some in-depth book reviews/ analysis, is that something y'all would be interested in me sharing? This would not replace any reactions, but would be bonus content for the Super Friend/ Family tiers. I would likely start with things like Lord of the Rings and the Hunger Games... any tho...

Finally got around to watching this classic! I'm really into the style of Tim Burton overall, and I can definitely see why this movie garnered so much attention. Also, do you prefer this movie or Corpse Bride? (that reaction will be out soon!)

Gotta say, this movie was MUCH better than I anticipated, especially the Joker. Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton were great, and both had strong takes on their characters that I've never seen before. Tim Burton also really impressed me, I love how personal his style feels, and there were a few amazing visuals of Batman and Gotham City. I don't think I'll ever get tired of movies that feel this unique

Anyways, this movie is underrated. Electro's theme song is SO EPIC, and I also think that Peter's chemistry with Gwen is on-point! Also, this is my favorite Spider-Man suit put on the big screen... am I alone in thinking this?? Let me know what you thought about the ending...

So a bit of a different direction for horror... I won't say much in case anyone hasn't seen it, but having watched the first three films, I recommend at least the first movie (my favorite and also the least violent by far in case some people don't care for lots of gore). But I get inspired by what filmmakers like James Wan can achieve on such a low budget, and I think there's many reasons this film became as popular as it did. Also, this is the first video with my friend Jessie, a...

Had to watch this horror classic with my friend underwaterflowers (our Sixth Sense Reaction is out now on her Youtube channel!!)
What I really like about this one, aside from the performances and filmmaking, is that it's much more than a horror film, and there is some real subtlety and symbolism throughout, as well as more real relationships/ struggles portrayed. I still have some unanswered questions about this movie (we talk about it), so I'd love to know people's take! <...
