Ok so I've gotta know... is this film criminally underrated, or had I just not heard about how good it was? Cause it's GOOD. And quite serious and mature at parts, but in a good way, as a strong story that is also appropriate for younger audiences, like one of those really cool kid's books that is surprisingly profound.

While not as strong as the first in my opinion, this one was a fun sequel that developed the relationship between Ralph and Venellope quite well. And the disney princesses/ meta jokes were a LOT of fun too...

Sad, scary, satisfying... the final chapter of Hill House wraps things up with grace and emotional power. Can't decide if this is my favorite episode, but finishing this episode feels like closing a great novel.

This one packed a SERIOUS punch. The reveal with Ford added so much sympathy/ complexity to his wicked choices, and I really really liked the idea of truth vs protective lies. Is it every ok to lie to a loved one? Do good intentions justify hiding the truth? ALSO, Spike needs to consult a vampire coach, cause he seriously dropped the ball here in my opinion haha

Had an absolute BLAST watching this one with Lexi. And what a fun, clever take on a Halloween themed episode. Although my favorite aspect by far was the reveal with Giles...

This one showed some of the serious dangers/ pressures of high school parties.
Also, Willow doesn't speak up too often, but when she does... it's AWESOME
Apologies for the camera issues, but this is just an AWESOME movie, and I had such a fun time watching with Domi (her first time!!). This movie has pretty much everything you could ask for: action, philosophy, special effects, great characters, killer costumes... and our discussion at the end got pretty deep, and really made me think. Definitely recommend!

Ok... so a lot of the references I did not get haha. Also, I had a friend explain to me some of the historical context in LA at the time, but feel free to fill me in with more, because I really don't know much about the subject. Still, I really enjoyed this one. The technical achievements alone were stunning, and it was a funny and satisfying parody movie with an awesome hero and a killer villain!

Man... Xander just can't catch a break when it comes to romance and the ladies... But my favorite part of this one was the notion of a villain who was just as much a victim and a unwilling "chosen one" like Buffy. Some really interesting parallels with those characters.
