Physics Combo Play demo for the programmer

There are also one new sprite in it, Chlodie's landing from a jump.
I'm making advances in two new animations, one I want to have ready for Halloween, and the next one for this month if possible.

Staller enemies

I decided I should focus on making the animations for the middle one, since the programmer is making a good job coding the enemies so far, and I feel this kind of enemy would give a nice spin to the gameplay, and she will also appear in one of the animations I plan on finishing soon.

Testing new effects and animations

New landing animation for Winsol, and a new smoke effect for enemies landing at high speed.

Current situation and new ideas

Phew, I have been panicking a bit the last 2 days, but im ok.
I think I can get the funds to help the illustrator, she doesn't have many incomes so I feel responsible for that.

Completed city background

Here we will see things like birds flying, a train passing by every once in a while, planes, cars, different citizens depending on the time of the day.
I plan on not limiting the player in which ways he could explore too, allowing the characters to enter the tall buildings for collectibles, secret stages, and such.

8bit Soli

Making 8bit sprites is very fun because of the limitations, and they are also way faster to make than the ones I make usually.
Well 8bit Soli here for you, our musician is already making an 8bit song for the animation she will be featured in
Game modes in 8 and 16 bits are meant to expand the experience and add more immersion in the game, since the player would have to buy the consoles when he finds them in the game's hub world.

Small background and character practice + current situation

I did not knew what else to make that would not spoil too much of what we are currently working on, so I speedran making this background and character today.
Currently im working in animating the character Polyand, the robot, aside from some animations for Oliv, the tail vore character, and also working in animations for the background characters.
While our musician works on some 8 and 16bit versions of some songs for a following animation.

Animation teaser, 8 and 16 bits

I had the idea of some extra game modes where you could play a version of the game where it looked like if it was made for a NES and a SNES console.
It would be a nice incentive to explore the city in the game since you would have to buy the game consoles first
The musician already said she can make songs with those instruments
I think it will be something fun to do because the color and animation limitations.

Im making assets for the new full animation for Oliv, and also remastering our oldest tileset, the forest one that you can see on our banner, since it is poorly optimized and in a wrong resolution.
We are making many new images and characters meant to expand and explain the lore of the game in different ways than just text boxes

Enemies we have been making

There are some yet to be seen, since I think they are too good to be seen in only an image.

A little disclaimer about "feature creep": Don't worry, in games like Metal Slug and Mega Man there are like 25 enemies in each game, the only thing that will be hard to make are all the animations, but none of the enemies will introduce new gimmicks that will conflict with each other.

Almost there with the next full animation, and update

Current situation and new plan

Our programmer was not able to fix his computer, but even if he could we will let him go, since he was not able to provide substancial and interesting updates in a timely manner when his PC was working.
What will be our next course of action? Well, I will return to code the game myself.
One of our past programmers was very skilled, but he did not had enough time to help us, yet he is still able to review my coding and give me advice, so that will be very helpful.

Aaaa it is too much work!! Thankfully a friend is helping me with the pixel art

Suggestion time, normal food in the game

During the gameplay it would not be possible to regain health or hunger with normal food, since that would defy the theme of the game.

But in the city hub world it would, because in there one should get to know the characters instead of just seeing them as killing machines.
