Heading back home right now. I can’t WAIT to be back in the water. After, of course, taking a day to rest.

Ariel, who?

I feel like a mermaid washed up to shore. But like an amazonian mermaid. That's a thing right?

Headed home to put this fan to work again!

While shopping in Miami about 8 years ago I came across a strange little boutique that I walked into by chance. The outside did not scream “Enter”. The bay window was haphazardly cluttered with fabric and sewing notions but the lace I saw in the window was Spanish silk lace. I could recognize it from a mile away. I was intrigued to say the least. As I entered I could rows upon rows of it. Scattered about were the most beautiful costumes and wedding dresses.

As I spoke with the owne...

Feeling Pretty Good Overall

🥁

Sorry, I know that's a terrible joke but I couldn't help it! I hope you're all doing well and managing to stay mentally strong despite being torpedoed at every turn. Trying my best to protect my mental fortress. I can't wait to get home and get my ass back on the beach! I just posted this little beach photo set to my Volcano and Super Volcano Tiers and thought you should all see a little preview.

New life for my old costume

Some years back I purchased this costume, except for the head dress, that I made. The shoes I purchased from Pollys of California which is an incredibly interesting company that’s been around for quite a while. Anyhow, I’ve been wanting to have this purple costume remade for years! Years! Part of the issue with this costume is that when I purchased it, it looked beautiful however, the designer used glue and a lot of it, to adhere the gemstones to the costume. There was so much glue used t...

New video!

Hola friends!

I’ve been in Illinois putting my apartment together at my folks house. Here is a little video of my bedroom closet.

I’m fresh out of the bathtub and feeling more like myself so I’m celebrating it in my skin, practicing movement and breathing for the first time in a week.

Below is the link to the video and above are some screenshots of the video. Have a beautiful day!

I love you ❤️

Wow!

I’m giving myself a moment to wrap my brain around everything that is happening, particularly what has happened today. I will be back with more, but in this moment, I’m preparing my personal war strategy.

Glad to be schmear

I’m back on the road again! This time it’s to see my family, have a few doctors appointments, and do some wedding planning. I’m so excited to be back home! Kicking the first leg of my journey off right with Haley and teenie tiny bagels. 🥯 ❤️

Showering You With Love

Here’s a repost of an older video. I promised that when I post content to Only Fans I would post it here, too. This is me following through on that promise! Enjoy this little shower time peep show.

Memphis

I wanted to make a post about this throwback Thursday picture and how much it looks like my daughter. I was going to find pictures from her profile that look SO similar it’s eerie. But when I went to go check out her profile, everything was gone because Instagram suspended her account. All of the beautiful content she has made, the fans, followers, connections, memories, all of that work just…gone. And that’s the threat that anyone who works in the fringes, sex workers and sex work tang...

This photo shoot

Was my first experience being edited in a photo. So I flew to LA for this photo shoot. It was for Tattoo Magazine, they hired an incredible photographer. We had a decent session, I don’t think I was ready for this shoot mentally or emotionally but, physically I was there and the shoot turned out nice. When I saw the photographs afterward I realized that they had edited the fuck out of my image. It was the first time it had ever happened. Which told me a few things. They told me I’m growin...

Welcome to my new students!

What an incredible week we have had! Over the last week I have acquired seven new fan dancing students. I’m so excited at how they have made space for this incredible craft in their lives. Many of them ready to buy fans right away, many committed to eventually hitting the stage, and a few, still finding their way, still figuring out their journey but committed to the experience of learning. I started with seven students at the beginning of Covid. And worked with those students over a two-ye...

Pretty please

So, I’m pretty sure I’ve been shadow band again on social media. It’s super fucking frustrating! But, I’m used to censorship. This is my most recent tactic. I’m just going to give them my, “pretty please let me out of Instagram jail,” face. Do you think it will work?

Bridget Bishop, routine photos

Holding space for my sister witches today. This costume is so dear to my heart because it was designed and hand sewn by my dear friend @gs.mte for my routine honoring Bridget Bishop. Hers was the very first life taken in the Salem Witch Trials. The very first of 19 lives in Salem. On the day she was hanged, she walked to the gallows wearing red. The color associated with hellfire and damnation. Though, only 19 were tried and executed by hanging, (not burned at the stake) for practicing witchc...

Sneak Peek

At my new routine and costume.

Here’s the story…

The Last Words of Bridget Bishop, the first femme executed in the blood bath that was the Salem Witch Trials were, “You will keep silent”.

There is no way to know, to whom she was referring but it is widely believed that this directive was in fact a spell cast upon either the audience or her executioners right before her hanging. Her defiance toward law and men put her in the crosshairs after her husband passed. You...

Pride Month: Stormé DeLarverie

It was a rebellion, it was an uprising, it was a civil rights disobedience – it wasn't no damn riot.— Stormé DeLarverie on Stonewall

For today's queer icon we have Stormé DeLarverie. She was born to a biracial couple in New Orleans in 1920, which is remarkable considering Loving vs Virginia wasn't passed until 1967! When Stormé was born she didn't have a birth certificate and therefore didn't know when her actual birthday was, but celebrated it on December 24th.&n...

Pride Month: William Dorsey Swann

Oh my gosh! I watched this amazing clip today from American Masters on PBS about the first self-identified "Queen of Drag" William Dorsey Swann. It is so hard to know much of true American History that isn't provided in the textbooks. Champions and icons of queer history and Black, Brown, and Indigenous history are often erased, especially those at the intersections of those groups. So, to revive the legacy of the great Queen of Drag, watch this video about her majesty William Dorsey Swann.&n...

Was at one of my favorite beaches. It’s in a town called Isabella here in Puerto Rico.

Jeremy has been wanting to shoot me in this pink, hand crochet dress that I bought at the Rincon farmers market from the Egg Ladies mom.

She is an absolutely beautiful, mature Puerto Rican woman who sells her crochet goods every Sunday. I always drive by or walk by and see her incredible clothing hanging up, nailed on a tree at the farmers market. I have never seen this pink dress before. Th...

My big pink…

Tractor! Duh.

Usually, I think unnecessarily gendered items are silly. But….then there’s THIS big, pink tractor! How fabulous is this??? 💗🚜🌷🐷

This tractor will be on a future episode of American pickers. I can’t tell you much about the story but I can tell you this, I love the story behind this tractor. When we were out on the road, Robbie and I, A few months back, we picked from a gentleman who was a wonderful contributor to 4-H. I love 4-H, always w...

Stripping History: Marie Cord

From thehistoryproject.com, which is a site that documents LGBTQ+ history in Boston:

Marie Cord was a lesbian singer and burlesque performer who frequented Playland. According to an interview with Robert G.:

Marie Cord had beautiful red hair. Her lover was mannish. [The lover] wore her hair in a man's haircut. She went to a barber shop and wore men's suits and ties. This is how many lesbians looked at the time. They would wear shirts and ties, and take on the...

Rest is Best, but so is rebuilding

Pushing myself little bit by little but to get back into performing. After getting sick, recovering has been wild! I was so absolutely exhausted for DAYS and any of you who know me know I don’t do well with sitting still. But I had to keep reminding myself that if I didn’t I wouldn’t get better. I’m so glad I’m on the upswing with it and so grateful to be practicing again. Of course I’m rebuilding my stamina, but that happens and I’m lucky to be able to do that. Happy and health...

Questioning

I’ve always been…

Growing up one of Jehovahs Witnesses, I knew I was different. But then I knew a lot of folks in the faith were. They tried to be Godly but many times fell short. Ya know, because we’re not perfect.

My parents tried their best to protect us from harm and followed their hearts along the way. They were drawn to the structure of organized religion and many of their friends were turning to cults at that time. There were so many in the 1970’s. I know they don...

Pride Month

Today is the first day of Pride Month! So happy pride to all of you in the alphabet mafia. Despite how hard the road has been for you to get here, I'm glad you did and I'm proud of you.

I want to highlight different queer representations throughout the month and thought it best to start with Marsha P Johnson and Sylvia Rivera. They could easily have their own post, but I feel like their celebrations belong together because so much of the work they did, they did together.

The...
