Picked in an old abandoned hospital in Valentine, Arkansas from an episode way back when.
The moment I laid eyes on this box I knew it was meant to be.
This magical bamboo decoupage purse is lined with bright red velvet and light to carry. The theme of this piece is obviously palmistry.
I brought it home and immediately put my tarot cards inside. After a few years my daughter Memohis fell in love with it so I passed it along to her.
Palmistry probably started in Ind...

I always see the coolest stuff when Iām with Jeremy!
The goldspotted eel (Myrichthys ocellatus), also known as the goldspotted snake eel or the dark-spotted snake eel, is an eel in the family Ophichthidae (worm/snake eels). It was described by Charles Alexandre Lesueur in 1825, originally under the genus Muraenophis. What do we do in between takes?
Have a mini junkyard photoshoot of course!
Here are a few fun outtakes from my last pick out east.
These pics were taken by Haley while Robbie was actively filming with the crew inside an out building.
We had to leave the space to avoid extra noise and since the space had to be shot tightly, we wouldāve been in the way for this part so we took a fun little hike.
They don't call me the Queen of Rust for nothing. And how about ...

6 years ago, while living in Chicago, Gin Rummy was born...
With my dear friend Soda Gardocki, whom is an absolute musical genius, and a hell-of-a good time; We created our traveling, ruckus causing, foot stomping, hoopin' and hollerin' band. With Pup on drums there was no way you could watch us without getting involved.
We went on to play Riotfest, charity shows, burlesque shows and created a fun video.
Here is a sneak peak at what was a long, but fun day on the shoot wit...

A special peek into this weekās work.
The ocean has been such a deep blue lately. The water has been flush with fishes and sea life. In fact itās so full of life near the shores lately that we have had larger predators coming very close to the shore.
In the last 2 weeks we have noticed a 12 ft nurse shark, 4 ft nurse shark, 2 giant sting rays, a family of 9 cuttlefish, a gold spotted eel, a beautiful balloon fish, octopus, blue tang, slippery dicks (yes thatās a real fish)...

Iām thrilled to know that I can finally move forward with my project featuring Jean Idelle and Sally Rand. My studio space in Rincon Puerto Rico is undergoing some changes. Weāre in the process of renovating the space to be a long term home for the stripping history Museum until we can find a permanent spot here on the island.
We have chosen our first exhibition at the stripping history Museum to include fan dancing. Famous fan dancers Jean Idelle and Sally rand have two very diffe...

in 2017 I acquired this costume from a vintage dealer and quickly realized they were a multitude of costumes from the same performer. I had heard of the Dolly sisters Rosie and Jenny. These dancing dolls were wildly famous in the 1920ās and 30ās but I had never heard of a solo performer named Dolly.
Through research I came to understand that Dolly was in fact born in 1910 and started in vaudeville in 1918 at the age of eight.
Little Dolly had an aunt tha...

Happy Tropical Tuesday!
Anytime I see a feather boa I think of a high glam tropical routine.
The boa Iām using is a 6ft ostrich feather boa.
There are vegan boa options that are absolutely beautiful and less expensive as well.
A nice large full ostrich feather boa is going to run you about $400, give or take.
A vegan option runs a little less normally.
ChƔndal boa is another less expensive option and is gorgeous. The only issue w...

What brings you peace? what brings you excitement? Gardening has the ability to do both for me...
Watching a plant that I care for grow, really helps with my anxiety and depression. It creates excitement for my own personal growth and helps me under my own need for growth.
Growth is not always easy. In fact it rarely is. Growth is actually an uncomfortable process because the forces us to change in direct a that we are not used to or comfortable with. It forces us to look a...

Hereās a look at part 3 of my goldfish series that we shot today in the ocean.
It was a bit of a struggle today because I felt exhausted but I pulled through.
I try never to go in the water if I feel exhausted because thatās when accidents happen but I had just enough energy fit one hour in the water. I was too tired of fighting the waves after that because they were much more wavy than I thought they would be, but it was worth it! That blue with my goldfish skirt is just in...

Did anyone watch Travis Pastrana pay homage to Evel Knievel by replicating some of his most famous jumps back in 2018?
I had the opportunity to see it live, and let me tell you was it a sight to see. The most remarkable stunt being the infamous jump over the Caeser's Palace fountain.
Travis and his entire crew were a joy to work with and I loved how excited the kids were while watching.

Some of my prized picks...
This early 1900ās Dancing Doll was picked by Mike and I fell in love! The day she came into the Antique Archaeology I knew she was meant for me.
I kept her in my house in Le Claire next to Antique Archaeology and my children Miles and Memphis hated her! They did not want her in the house but I thought she was incredible.
My son insisted that she moved across the room when he was sleeping on the couch as a teenager. He ran up to my room in a p...

Yesterday we had a really fun workday. My two week vacation is over and I am back to work now but it was a fun day working in the waterfalls. This little guy came out, we call him Larry. He crawled all over us. He really liked crawling up in everybodyās hair. Iām surprised we actually got him out of our hair without hurting him. But he wouldnāt leave us!
We kept trying to put him down on a leaf or on the ground, he was not having it.
He would jump right back up onto us and...
