Stripping History: Lorraine Gail Smith

Here is a peek of an older short stripping history film I created about Lorraine Gail Smith and her incredible hand made burlesque collection. This film was made before My research revealed who she was and how she lived and died in Boston.

Over the next month I will be releasing pieces of her inspirational rise in burlesque and ultimately her tragic demise, only to my patrons.

Spinach surprise!!!!

I’ve been playing a guessing game with a few of my plants because the sun bleached out the markers.

I could not figure out this plant for the life of me because it was too small to photograph and identify on my plant identifier app.

Finally when I came back from old San Juan yesterday evening I saw how big it was and I was able to finally identify it.

New Mosquito Netting

My friend Kim just asked me about mosquito born illness in Puerto Rico.

I was explaining that we use a lot of incense and I have taken to using mosquito netting in my front breezeway.

My bath is out there so it’s nice to have itch free bath time and mosquito born illnesses are a concern as a few of my friends have gotten dengue fever here.

Garden updates

Everything in the garden seems to be growing beautifully.

The zucchini, squash, eggplant really love the hot sun and drink up a lot of water. I also figured out what was wrong with my hydroponic tower, now everything feels fresh and alive again. Unfortunately, I somehow neglected to keep the tank full. But we got it all fixed now.

My ferns are starting to get dry, they drink so much water! It’s so hard to keep up with them but it’s so fun to watch them grow. They’re gettin...
