Hey guys! I had a solid week and was able to convert 73 storyboard slides into working game passages. It’s coming together!

This is a club-heavy episode, with a couple of important plot points.  The set piece sex scene is so hot. 🥵

Hey guys! Last week I completed the storyboard for the next episode. Weighing in at 248 slides, it’s the longest storyboard so far.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the longest episode to play, but it is the most thoroughly planned. Hopefully this means that production will be swift and easy, with few obstacles. 🤞🏻😬🤞🏻

[1.19] Random Bar Encounters test report

Hey guys! Yesterday we released a short beta test of a new feature, Random Bar Encounters, to Operators+.

Feedback is positive so far, with several good suggestions and critiques.


What it is
Right now, the heroine (referred to in internal docs as “Kate”)’s work shifts are scripted. I wanted to test whether the player experience is improved by randomising the bar patrons that the she gets in a night.

Create a new character, then use the shortcut on the first story screen (where she's in her office at the start of the game).

Super quick update

Hey guys!  Just a super quick note because Franatique correctly pointed out that I've gone quiet.

I've very nearly finished the test of the random bar encounters, and will release it to Operators+ either tomorrow or Thursday for testing and feedback.  I'll also write up a proper dev report.

Hey guys!  Last week I rewrote the uncoöperative sex scene.  Stripping it down to the basics seemed to work.  (I was trying too hard to make it sexy in the original version.)  I also wrote a first draft of the 'coda' scene that a few contributors thought the episode needed.

[Ep 1.18] Almost there...

Hey guys!  I was hoping to complete all the writing last week, but I wasn't able to do so.  😔  I've been having problems with a sex scene coming out a little flat and forced (and not in the hot way, forced as in it felt like none of the characters in the scene wanted to go through with it).

Fixing it was complicated a bit by the fact that two testers had told me they really liked a certain vivid part of the scene, so I was loathe to edit it out.  I ended up trying...

Progress & next steps

Hi guys!  Last week I pushed my outline for a short interim episode out to some kind contributors who don't mind spoilers.
