CAESER - A Poem

Hello Humans...

Thank you for your patience while I get back on track.

Today was a good day.

I went to work at Not Saints, taught some music lessons and wrote some music. I was occupied and busy, and had little time to be sad.

I'm still a little low, processing my grandma's passing but I know it is for the best and she is at peace.

I saw my family, and we bonded over old memories. It was actually really lovely to pull together.

Hello Humans,

Yesterday I received the news that my grandma passed away, peacefully, aged 100.

She was very, very old and ready to go, so there is no sadness.

However, I will be offline for the next few days while I go to see the family and make funeral plans.

I'll be back when I can.

She had a huge influence on my life, and my music, and we were close, especially towards the end so I am going to miss her.

I've been a little quiet this week so far...

A quick side-story - I had minor breast surgery on Monday to remove a totally harmless but very painful lump of fibrous tissues that I've had for years.

Thankfully the surgery was very quick and I was out by the afternoon.

Therefore this week has been a very sleepy one as my body recovers from the trauma, but I am happy to say I'm healing very well and I'm almost back at 100% Mish.

As you can see I finally found some time to get out into the country and be the nature witch that I am.

Being among trees, rivers, beaches in the summer is my happy place, and this month I had all three!

Pillow fights... busted tyres... stranded in Czech!

What a week!

On the return journey from MetalFest (pic above) our tyre popped on the motorway and we nearly crashed.

It was terrifying!

Thankfully we were able to pull over quick enough (expert driving skills from Garry) and we got towed to safety. 

This is the last time The Fuggler is allowed behind the wheel.

I just popped up to say a quick thank you for being here for another month!

Your support and patience is muchly appreciated as I try to balance all the things I'm doing.

Currently, I am residing in Pilzen, Czech at a hotel that's decorated a bit like The Overlook hotel from The Shining.

We've been driving for days and I'm starting to get very familiar with the tour travelling again. It feels good to be back on the road.
