Another epic over a lifetime that reminded me of The Godfather in it's scope but also the mafia type theme. Good performances + music and I didn't know this was a Scorsese movie so I was happy to learn that! I know this is compared to Goodfellas, should I watch that one as well?

Mankind has always feared what it doesn't understand.
I was so excited to finally see this movie! Knowing nothing about the universe or characters, I was totally along for the ride + that freakin Mystique really fooled me! I'd love to see more X-Men, what do you guys think?

I'm a goddamn marvel of modern science.
Strong performances + eerie music throughout this tale of power + mental illness. I think I'm beginning to understand just how big a star Jack Nicholson was + he has that undefinable quality of screen presence so you can't take your eyes off him. Glad I can say I've seen this classic. I wonder how different the movie is from the book?

Well... episode 4 broke me pretty hard... if you know me at all you know I have a soft spot for animals, dogs in particular, so get ready to see me weep 😭
Bit of an extended break between episodes where I was comforted by the very silly + sweet Banjo 😻
Episode 5 was great, it was so fascinating to finally get the minute by minute breakdown of what really happened. I was enthralled.

I loved this one so much I had to invent a rating system to give it the maximum rating lol! I was already a big fan of murder mysteries, the game Clue and a few of the actors, but on top of that, the stylishness, music, costumes, pacing, sets, lighting, framing - everything - was all perfection for me!! What an iconic friendship, I love these 2 dudes! Did not see it ending that way for sure, but it's a very memorable way to leave the characters. I think I'd rather remember them that way than see what happens to them. How much of this movie is true?

Holy moly. Things are getting pretty graphic with the effects of the radiation starting to happen to characters now + that whole threat of completely blowing up. Very scary stuff. I'm so curious to see the last 2 episodes to see how it wraps up + if we learned how to keep this from happening again.
