[Divine] Artifact - Crown Judgment

This warhammer is a fragment of Ondrea the Unyielding Judge, bestowed upon a worthy champion of the God of Valor and Justice. Champions who wield this hammer are charged with dutifully dispensing justice upon the world, though the type of justice is not specified. They push heroically into the unknown, facing their fears head-on.

[Divine] Artifact - Aubade Core

This flail is a fragment of Halean the Dawnbearer, bestowed upon a worthy champion chosen by the God of Sun and Life. The spiked head illuminates a simple path for Halean and his followers: repel the dark, attend the wounded, and cultivate the weak. The weapon judges not its wielder's true intentions as long as these tenets are followed.

[Divine] Artifact - Agony & Ruin

These two darts are bone fragments of Qhyrra the Painweaver, granted to a worthy champion of the God of Pain and Misery. They represent the instruments used to weave the Tapestry of Pain that binds all living things. When Qhyrra grants these darts to a mortal champion, it is more of a test for the champion rather than a tool for any ultimate goal.

[Collab] Weapon - Devil's Runeblade

I've recently had the pleasure of collaborating with @spectrecreations where he came up with the stats while I did the art. You may know him as the guy who made a lot of content for Februnerary, and now he has an upcoming Kickstarter for all that content!

[Coast] Monster - Wave Trap

Even when its shell is closed, the wavetrap is 8 feet wide and nearly 3 feet tall. Its gray-green and ribbed shell is especially durable and protects its soft fleshy interior from attack. The wavetrap spends most of its time on the ocean floor swallowing small creatures and plankton swimming across its open shell. Hunters dive deep to find clams for their delicious meat and the rare giant pearl.

[Compendium] - The Halcyon Coast

I'm sure this is probably the last month I output twice the promised content! I'm getting a bit busier outside of this, so expect the pages to be reduced. This time I've got another 32 pages for your beach episode sessions, including discoveries, activities, treasures, resorts, and all things related to the beach. This theme specifically precludes oceans or deep seas, so all the content about ships, anchors, whales, etc will be in another future theme. Hopefully.

[Coast] Druid - Circle of Tides

It's a new druid! I've been kicking around an ocean-based druid for a while - it's a little challenging because Land Druid already covers all kinds of land, but I think I was able to hone in on aspects of the tide like push, pull, moons, and strength, and still manifest the water without requiring the character to be in the ocean.

Druid subclasses progress in some similar ways: the 2nd level feature generally adds an alternative use of the Wild Shape feature, from the Moon impr...

[Coast] Monster - Tanglekelp

This marine plant thrives in salt water environments, particularly along shallow coasts. Most of the tanglekelp’s body mass clusters around a central core, but its leaves extend up to a hundred feet. From the seafloor, the tanglekelp allows its leaves to drift gently in underwater currents, nearly indistinguishable from other varieties of kelp. The lines of kelp quickly tighten around prey that swim through them, trapping fish and drowning land-dwellers, their remains absorbed as nutrients....

[Coast] Monster - Sand Clippers

The light sandy carapace hides the sand clipper just beneath the surface of coastal beaches. Keen eyes may recognize the small spikes that protrude from their shells, or the occasional cluster of giant barnacles that grow there. Their two long claws resemble perfectly serrated shears or “clippers,” capable of hewing fish in two. Luckily, the claws are not immediately fatal to larger creatures.

[Coast] Monster - Animated Sand Sculpture

Sand sculptures are sometimes animated by wizards or master craftsmen to add flair to their creations. These minor enchantments tend to be harmless, ranging from a waving hand to a billowing flag, and ends when its purpose is served. In rare cases, sand sculptures may be animated by mages with ill intent or even the remnants of magical wastes washed onto beaches from upstream. These mindless constructs summon reflections of their most common features — a castle wall — into labyrinthian ca...

[Coast] Item - Lamp of the Lightkeeper

Before the Halcyon Lighthouse and its enchanted autonomous lamp was built, visitors to the Halcyon Coast were guided by a mage tower home to a studious wizard. They guided ships and travelers atop the Sunwrought tower using a series of complex lenses powered by a magical lamp. Not only was the wizard an accomplished marine scholar and custodian, they were also a protector and adventurer in times of need, wielding their magical lamp against the forces of darkness.

August Theme Poll

Welcome all new patrons from July! We've had a lot of growth and kind words this month, which has been super encouraging. I can't wait to see what new things we have in store.

This month's theme is one of the more exciting ones for me because I really enjoyed exploring the chill and relaxing vibes of the beach and ocean. I also really like minigames or fun side adventures, so this was a perfect one for me. I'm glad a lot of people liked Ocean's Edge, one of my favorite ideas for its exe...

[Coast] Weapon - Ocean's Edge

Just a single item this week because the other content were released earlier last week as the compendium had already been finished.

I'm very excited about this one because beach stuff is peaceful, tranquil, and can be a lot of fun, especially for players who need a break from a dark campaign. This weapon kicks it all off and embodies the coast itself, playing on a variable charge mechanic thematically appropriate to the tide's push and pull. Depending on how many charges you keep on the...

[Infinity] Warlock - The Timeless Patron

I wasn't expecting to design a warlock at the beginning, but came around when I thought about how the Infinity Guard might receive their chronomantic abilities. The result was a warlock of the TImeless patron, one who exists outside of time and may give a fraction of that power to someone who asks.

Let's take a look at the Timeless warlock:

The typical warlock progression is simple: gain a subclass-defining 1st level feature, some defensive, resistive, or mobility-based 6...

[Infinity] Monster - Asynchronox Imp

I designed this imp mainly because I really wanted to make a Super Imp Position pun and I succeeded. 😎

This imp is a cute fight, sort of like how displacer beasts work, but with a guaranteed miss on the first hit. I'm in favor of designing smarter fights, so this simple one may nudge smart players to primarily use AoE effects to guarantee you hit both, or possibly make quick dart attacks to knock out one of the duplicates.

Extratemporal is going to be a new tra...

[Infinity] Monster - Chronal Paradict

I was fascinated by the weirdness of Infinity and biblically accurate angels for this one. This one would make a very fun fight because it embodies paradox itself; it reverses natural 20s and 1s, reverses disadvantage into advantage, teleports through openings, and my absolute favorite trait, automatically fails on Intelligence saves because it just makes up its own logic. Heroes fighting this should learn quickly to aim for the "normal" or "middle-ground."

The "paradict" tag also opens...

[Infinity] Monster - Temporal Malefice

These were originally designed as mooks for Infinity Guard to fight and protect things from. Visually, I wanted an eldritch vibe but I settled for a more familiar beast-like body. They are best suited for investigative adventures — discovering a trail of aged bodies or children suddenly transformed into adults, until you track down the temporal malefice responsible. It's straightforward in battle, but the aging effect can stack up for careless adventurers.

I really like the malefice n...
