Work In Progress - 4 small paintings

Hello lovely people, 

I recently saw that a gallery (Gallery Nucleus) I have always wanted to submit work to had a call for artists for one of their upcoming show. 

I don't know if I will get accepted into the show, but I might as well try to apply!

The show will display a plethora of small works (5x7) and we can submit up to 6 pieces, so I thought I would take this opportunity to create a few diminutive paintings.

Life-Drawing Session Sketches

Finished Painting - INNER CRITIC

Hi peeps, 

It took me a few days, as I couldn't settle on how to finish it, but the little painting I did on my livestream the other week is now done!

I opted to paint the vine gold, and also modified the eyes to match that colour scheme.
I like the implication that the character might not be able to complete the action of cutting it off, since it is now made of metal. The eyes also imply that the vine is part of the person, and I wanted there to be a sort of numbness to ...

June 2022 Physical Rewards

Daily Doodle Diary 2022 - #7

Hi lovely peeps, 

Sorry for my prolonged silence for the past few weeks.
I was at my grand-mother's funeral during the end of April as you know (thank you for all your incredibly lovely messages by the way, I appreciated them all tremendously), and I fell ill IMMEDIATELY after, so had to delay my return to London as a result.

Once I got back, I had a stupid amount of admin to tend to for a bunch of reasons (some linked to the fact the THE FRENCH ADMINISTRATION IS HELL ON ...

Strathmore Gouache Course - ALL WORKSHEETS

It would appear Strathmore has taken down the free downloadable worksheets for the 2019 gouache course I created for them, so I have made them available for download below. Enjoy!

Small break until next week

My grand-mother died over the week-end so I need to travel back home to France for a few days.

The first image below is the main piece, which will go on the cover of the box as well as the card insert, but I also made a small painting to go on the back.
