For me, it's been lots of training, as always. We are now less than four weeks out, and things are starting to get real!

There hasn't been any drop in weight in the past couple of days, but the shreds are coming. I have a check-in with my coach tomorrow, so we shall see if there are any changes to the plan.

This weekend has been a turning point (for the best) in prep. I have felt much more energised, and cardio has been relatively easy. I don't know if it's because I am used to it now or because I feel lighter and less sluggish…. But I love this feeling :).

Last day in Mexico

Good morning everyone!

I hope you are all well :) Today is my last full day in Mexico; tomorrow, I will fly in the afternoon and then back to the UK on Sunday (just in time for Father's Day).

I will be very sad to leave, but I will return soon (probably after competitions). Anyway, the next three months until the competition will be highly disciplined and structured- now the real hard work and focus will begin! I also have new clothes coming, so there will be lots of fun try-ons...

Happy Thursday!

Another week is flying by, and we are in May. I have just under two weeks left in Mexico; I will be sad to go, but it will also be good to be home for summer (let's hope the weather is warm and sunny 🀞).

This week has been busy and tiring, but, of course, an excellent week.

Training has been going well, but my body is quite physically exhausted. So I think I will have to take a recovery day soon (as I didn’t take it on Sunday in the end). I rarely take a full rest day (usually, I train for 1-2 sessions instead of more), but sometimes when I feel extremely exhausted, I know it is needed.

Arrived in Mexico and my CrossFit journey begins

After a successful trip to Phuket, we are now in Mexico. I didn't want to leave Phuket in the end. I felt like I belonged in Phuket and hadn't felt that way (sense of belonging) for a long time.
