Bow before the mighty dragon gods...
The Draconis Fundamentum puts a magnifying glass on everyone's favorite scaly, flying, (and often fire-breathing) predators. This book's archetypes, feats, spells, and monsters are designed to give players and GMs their dragon fix, finally fulfilling our long-time goal of making it possible to play a party entire composed of dragon-themed characters, regardless of class or race. Moreover, our new feat chain allows you to gradually transform your ch...

Howdy, partner. What brings ya' 'round these parts?
The Weird West is hands-down my new favorite setting. It's not just the focus on guns and cowboy boots, it's the idea that you can take everything you love about fantasy and have it live in the West, with all the Western trappings and tropes. Just adding the Western elements feels like a force multiplier in terms of creativity when you're running an adventure.
This book is big. Its 50 pages includes a introductio...

A thousand stories live in the West, and a thousand more are yet untold...
The Weird West is the best campaign setting you never knew you wanted to play in.
For people who want to dive deep, the Weird West is a setting of swords, sorcerery, and six-shooters, where the wide and dangerous frontier is populated by goblins, dwarves, and gatling dragons. If it belongs in a typical RPG world, it can be found in the Weird West. Knights in shining armor and trained wizards can div...

Boom, headshot.
Risk is in a gunslinger’s blood. They are bold renegades, bucking tradition and forging a new path with dangerous and inelegant firearms. Gunslingers are infamous for surviving by their wits, relying on split-second timing and a considerable amount of luck to survive.
We took our time balancing this class just right, making sure that it felt as good to play as it is to read. The gunslinger is a striker class with a role in combat reminiscent of the rogue'...

The Shugenja are elemental masters, unlike anything you've seen for at least an edition and a half. Rather than casting spells normally, shugenja are scroll-casters, preparing and casting their magic through ink and parchment alone. This radical departure from conventional spellcasting requires thoughtful planning, but comes with a host of benefits: sharing scrolls with your allies, gaining the use of blank scrolls, which need not be prepared, and gaining a ...

Swing your hammer wide!
This Craftsman revision is really something special. We took a class that we already loved and restructured top-to-bottom it to be simpler to digest, easier to play, and more interesting at the table. Some of the first changes you'll notice are that we've changed the old Well-Built equipment to Masterwork equipment. Besides just being instantly more iconic, we take a slightly different approach with Masterwork gear that allows you to more easily upgrade gear fo...

Hello all!
As of right now, we have books lined up in some form or another for the next few months. This month (which releases on Feburary 1st) will be a collection of classes including the Gunslinger. Next month (March) will be the Weird West update, which mixes swords, sorcery, and six-shooters in equal measure, and the month after that (April), we have something only called Dragonbook lined up.
This poll is to decide which book comes after that. I know it's a lon...

--Edit: open for everyone!--
The Digits, in their infinite wisdom, have decided to go resurrect the Class Packs.
In addition to our Monday, Wednesday, and Friday posts, and our monthly Patreon books, we'll be creating semi-regular Class Pack collections, which feature a curated list of MFoV favorites. Greatest hits albums, if you will.
But we've published a lot of stuff, and we're asking you, our marvelous patrons, to tell us your favorites from each class.

It's getting cold outside…
When a certain witch dooms the land to eternal winter or the party travels to the icy north, you need the Tundra Update.
This one is coming at the end of the month, appropriately on December 1st, and I'm really excited it. Not just because it's just in time for everyone's Christmas campaigns, but also because I think we dug deep and found a lot more awesome in the tundra than I even knew was there.
As always, here's a glimpse at the phenomenal ...

The warden was a mountain, his feet immovable and his shield unbreakable.
Wardens are vigilant guardians, and unbreakable defenders of the weak. They are nature’s shield, and the watchers of the realms of men. When the world cries out for a champion, wardens heed the call.
The Warden represents the first proper Defense / Control class ever in 5th edition. It excels in not only surviving oncoming hordes of foes, but also in locking down enemies to shelter the party from har...

The warden cannot be slain, and cannot be felled.
You guys asked for a martial class, and we aimed to deliver. Some of you might be thinking, of all the classes, why did we choose the Warden, a relic of everyone's most hated edition, to adapt? Because the warden brings yet another dimension to 5th edition: the first defense/battlefield control class.
The warden can single-handedly lock down a group of enemies, while helping the party eliminate targets one at a time. The warden can...

In Manifest, gnomes keep a secret language, and dwarves sail about the world in trade. The elves are nowhere to be seen. But what about dragonborn? Thri-kreen? Tieflings? In this bonus chapter by Mage Hand Press, we talk a little more about the major races in Manifest, and probe a little more deeply into their cultures, histories, and attitudes toward one another.

The witch gestures at the charging orc, as a tendril of black energy reaches out and seizes it by the neck, bringing it to its knees.
Witches are cursed -- stricken by magic so dark it imprints a lasting shadow upon their essence. Through force of personality alone, they can spin this darkness outward, hexing creatures, casting manipulative spells, and even commanding a familiar with their thoughts.
The witch is the first proper debuff class in 5th edition, and, though it takes ...

I haven't been keeping this one much of a secret -- but what I haven't told everyone yet is that the Witch is one of my favorite classes we've written so far. I penned almost the entire class in one sitting, and it came out as a great merger between the pathfinder witch, and our own MFoV take. I genuinely think that this one will be as well liked as the Alchemist and the Warmage. Here's some art the wonderful Mr. Kirby has done for us!
Also, at the end of this month we'll also be releas...

Oftentimes, your adventurers measure their progress and worth strictly by the quality of their loot. Higher levels are nice, but they're not quite as tangible as an enchanted great maul.
Your adventurers deserve the best loot. So we here at Mage Hand Press have written up 50 Magic Items to surprise and delight (and occasionally terrify) the adventurers in your campaign. Inside this book you'll also find Magic Item Sets, which are unique trios of items that become stronger when reunited, and tw...

Rook to king-4. Checkmate.
Warmages wield magic the same way a fighter wields weapons: swiftly and efficiently. It's no accident they've claimed the names of chess pieces for themselves. Chess is a game of strategy, where greater pieces trump lesser ones, and everything is done in service to victory. Logic alone dictates the winner, just as it does with magic.
We wanted the Warmage class to be perfect, so we went back in, restructured the base class, tricks, and houses, an...

It's finally ready! The Complete Warmage has had a crazy development cycle, as it actually involved polishing up the base class and making some big changes to the way we did things in the past. This one will come with a suite of cantrips for all classes, a heavily modified list of tricks to go with it, and even a new subclass!
For now, be content with some magic items and a look at the cover art for the book!

In other news, the Waste Update is coming really soon, and I think you guys are going to like it. It's got a subclass for every class, a ton of hazards, monster stats, and even a few magic items.
